If you rewatch the video then it can point out the genders just in case here is the genders in order : boy,non-binary, gender fluid,girl,girl, boy,girl. Hope that helps :D
For the parents it can be confusing but there was 2 parents who split up and starting dating someone else and so I included the divorced parents and their partners

The older children belong to the older parents and the younger to the younger parents as the reason there is 4 parents is that the 2 oldest divorced (this is the only way I can make logic to it and I see your point) (:
