This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
I managed to sneak my way into the Int Corps. One of the timed tests was based on the alphabet. 'If c-2=a, then atq-14=' etc. by writing the alphabet out in tiny letters along the inside of my finger I managed to answer them all correctly in record time :)
I won't say it was painless considering the stress I felt watching it happen. But after the initial needle prick for the pain killer and the doctor slapping me after I moved my eye when he said not to... What a change it made in my eyesight after the cataracts were turning me blind. What did it for me was the glare at night when driving.
Hallo Sir, thank you for sharing.. Im always willing to learn, especially from elders ;-) such as yourself, with obvious years of experience. Over time, ill go through your videos but in the mean time, can you refer me to any good explanations of good relational practices ?
Many thanks, Jim. The next meeting of the FileMaker Mastermind Group is a workshop where everybody will get to normalize a file. Sign up at www.meetup.com/filemaker-mastermind-group/
Jim, the workshop is next Tuesday and you still have time to sign up. www.meetup.com/filemaker-mastermind-group/events/280145707/ Hope you can make it.
Michael, on meeting you for the first time early last month, you could just about ask for drinks, as you say, but I did it for you just as I did every thing for which use of Spanish was required when meeting up. Six weeks on, you fend for yourself. Your learning has been meteoric, superlative. Your earnest interest and the truly extraordinary capacity you have have been showcased in your first journal entry! I am so pleased you have chosen Santa Pola to live, a much more interesting place since your arrival.
@@michaelrocharde7444 No worries mate, I am an ex linguist myself. Your story made me laugh - 50 points for bluffing your way past a Rupert. Not sure why it wasn't picked up in your vetting though. Thanks for the reply.
Very clearly explained. It's been a while since I used GTRR and some of the finer points about its functionality had escaped me over time. By chance I came across this video. I'm completely impressed by its clarity. It's restored a lot of my forgotten knowledge. Thank you.
Well, I wouldn't worry. I ended up being quite a good linguist with some degree of fluency in German, Arabic, French and Spanish. For Arabic I went to the Army Language School for a three month intensive course. If you have a talent in a particular area, it will surface. Good luck.
You don't. They will ask you if you have any language skills, most do not, if you are already in a TA or regular unit/regiment that will go a long way as they prefer to have you trained for MATTS and basic infantry fighting school before hand, saves time before your OPMI course. Show a great interest in UK foreign historical policy and legacy, know you capitals and geography, sports interests and academic interests like photography, languages and an understanding of conflict culture from both sides. Then tell them why and what section of MI you are interested most in, HUMINT, aerial interpretation, field security....... you get the picture. Then it's pot luck. Security vetting and DV status takes the most time. Good luck.
All you are doing is double-clicking on the field CompanytID (which is in the People table) and replacing it with the Company Name field from the relationship People - Companies. Seeing the CompanyID is meaningless to the user so we want to display the 'related' value, i.e., the Company name instead.
