A trumpeter's wonderwall (a guitarist would understand what I mean). You're even doing the typical body movements every trumpeter does while playing this 😂. Nice playing.
Very nice!! Where can I get that arrangement? Please let me know. My son wants to play this for a school concert. If you can help, thank you so much!!! My son loves to listen to you play!!
This is the best performance of this trumpet arrangement I've heard that isn't Rolf Smedvig. Well Done!! You should try it on cornet with a proper British Brass Band mouthpiece!! ;-)
Hello Paul Futer, very good arrangement, and you have a beautiful sound .. Congratulations !! Could you send me this arrangement by email? there is the email: lucastrompete1205@outlook.com Thank you in advance. Hugs.
Alexander Aanesen I agree with some mutations and different volume. But one of the aspect of the piece is contrast and we have to play very loud and very piano. If he doesn't Do that he doesn't play this piece...
How gorgeous!! I'm hoping to be playing this on horn for solo and ensemble but right now it sounds like a bowl of spaghetti. Also, Absolutely beautiful sound you have!
Not bad, but: Who is the piano player that does most of the work? Don't you think he should be mentioned? Second: the end has to be definately an octave higher. That makes your performance crap. Sorry to say that. And please: take your water before a 13 minutes performance, ok? ;)
@@eniotnayssaneb3442 Mr Yssaneb, whatever your name is...or what nationality you are.. How dare you ! Does being American (and you should capitalize that) make you think someone can't or doesn't know about playing an octave higher ? Gee, I haven't heard any recordings, or anything about any professional resume of yours, that would suggest you are any caliber of a professional trumpet player to even offer an opinion on this. Please offer it, I'd love to hear it !
Dude, that was amazing, it almost made me cry. I was wondering if you could help me. I'm a senior in high school, and I don't usually practice at home, for I have band every day for 45 minutes. When I do practice at home, however, I play well for about 10 minutes, but then my tone becomes spitty and my range goes from a high C to barely being able to play only a high A. I have no idea what's happening.
John Piermatteo if you're playing for only 10 minutes and trying to play "high c" then you arent getting enough of a warm-up. your diaphragm is becoming stiff. You need to play way more often than you are. 45 minutes is not enough. Im a sophomore and i play an hour and a half and that still isnt enough practice for me. Try playing regular and controlled. never do more than you know you can do.
You need to properly warm up your lips. Think of you lips as your arm muscles. When you practice that's like working out your arms. When you start working our you dont immediately lift the heaviest weights right? same thing with practicing.
Try long notes across the range and dynamics. Play legatos with random or fixed combos of range and dynamics. As long as and as efficient as possible. But please have someone to tell you the correct form, posture, and techniques + be sure to hold their suggestion as it will help for the long terms.
