I am using 23.04 and .yaml file says "Let network manager manage all devices on the system" so I set my static and dynamic ip address through nmtui, which i find quite easy
Do we have any risk in enabling query store in Db level. As it may collect the logs for all the queries .is there any chances of primary db getting filled up in case if we are running more queries
There shouldn't be. If you are worried about it, make sure you do a backup first. That is normally a good idea just incase something goes wrong anyway, but there shouldn't be any data loss.
I never comment on YT guides, but I gotta say, your guides are so clear and understandable that I could fix all my linux-related problems through your videos! Thank you!
Hello, Thanks for the videos, i love it, it was extremely helpful. Any video on how to configure the VPN on a workstation so we can successfully connect to the domain ? :D
is it possible to force a client somehow to get a *new* IP address after some time to make IP client tracking harder ? That means to have the dhcp server *not* give out the same IP address to the same client after the refreshment period ?
If you have a server with a GUI, you can use Server Manager to manage the system remotely. You can also install remote admin tools are your desktop to manage the system remotely.
thanks David Dalton. i really appreciate dedication in your videos. very helpfulls. i dont understand the class b 172.16.31.1 has a subnet 255.255.255.0 instead of 255.255.0.0
255.255.0.0 is the classful subnet mask since 172.16 is a class B network. In this instance, I used a class C subnet mask, in effect, subnetting the standard class B network.
I have a problem where I can't set my vm with static IP address, when I do, I got an error no network connection, i am using the same range with host IP, but I can't ping my host from the VM. Please help
I hear you. I have them organized in our LMS, but that doesn't help here. I have thought about trying to organize them into playlists but haven't had the time yet.
