I witnessed a fake one explode when it was re-charging on the official Makita DCR18C single port charger during a commercial kitchen fit out. It was being used by a sparky for impact driver tasks. He learned his lesson though, as even with a kitchen fire blanket it was difficult to put out. It also ruined the charger! DON"T ever buy / use the copies! Same goes for the knock-off Makita chargers.
You and Scott brown and killing me in the usa a dalluge hammer is impossible to get new and titanium is even more rare. That handle style is discontinued and even dalluge the original maker is more like martinez style. I can find the handle replacements in every hardware store not a single head. So you nz people are just teasing us in the usa.
I checked out your video. I noticed your content is great, but your thumbnails could use some improvement to attract more clicks. A more engaging thumbnail can significantly boost CTR, SEO optimize your video views, and help your channel grow faster. Would you like some assistance in fixing this?
Both left and right hand circular satw should be in everyone's tool box. Both of them are the same,no difference except the blades, left handed circular saw blades are hard to get.
Man that 622 set out for studs is so simple, i was taught to just add 22mm to your stud location on a running measurement, that this makes so much more sense, Calculations, Pattern, Systems i love it.
I really want to try one of these but I just can't see how it's gonna be better then my old Lufkin 6 foot folding rule. Same thing only four feet shorter right?
@@adamguinnmusic5871 ox licensed the design from the good rule. Their the exact same except with the ox logo. The good rule has just brought out a laser rule
We don't do studs at 450 centers only 400 centers. But it's just working out what's going to best suit linings. But I won't shrink or expand those centers.
@@CarpentryAndMe awesome, would you just put an extra stud at the end and split the difference? Say for example the end of the wall is 650 would you divide that by two and that’s your stud?
That takes too long... just use a droppy when you get close to where you normally stop the cut and use a coping saw and drag it side way while the saw is running and perfect cut, every time.
Looks like these are battery shaped objects (BSO's) with leftover cells that did not pass QA. You said you only get 3 months out of these batteries - what would you get from a regular Makita battery?
Thanks for the review. The new Stiletto TIBONE™14oz and 15oz Titanium Framing Hammers have interchangeable accessories, including colored replacement grips, milled and smooth replaceable steel faces and mallet cap that replaces the need for most mallet applications. Working on getting them launched soon in NZ. 👊
The belt pad is a size to small, but it's how I work I like to work with them. I don't look usually because I'm not thinking about what I'm going to get to talk to a camera about 😅😂
Interesting comment Ian. Are you a home handyman or tradie? Either way, I’ve done all my research prior to visiting either so I know what I want/need. And where to get it. At the cheapest price. If Mega 10 didn’t offer their price guarantee, I would drive past it on the way to Bunnings. From a 25+ years tradie.
Noticed you using Delfast nails and red twin tip gas, neither work well in a Paslode, Ive proved this many times. Paslode nails drive better than Delfast, less kickback, Paslode gas is higher pressure and higher energy in each dose. Red twin tip gas starts misfiring in a Paslode gun after the cell is 50% expired. Cell contents are proven by weighing the cell. Delfast gas leaves a black deposit in the gun and it needs servicing more often. Back to back tests between Delfast and Paslode gas and nails prove this time and again. Alan's Toolfix Taupo
