Yeah, hence why I don’t drive it on the road like that. It’s only for track use. If you watch the end of the video I do explain that I have got two headlights and use the other one for driving on the road mate
@@Vinnievxr666 As long as there isnt any right turn. I had my Cavalier Turbo wrote off in 2018 from someone not indicating, same again with my black vxr in 2021. Id hate it for someone to pull out on you with that headlight.
nice one vinnie, be interested to know how much cooler it makes it, what your new bonnet needs is an suburu wrx bonnet vent, it brought down the charge temps on my honda accord non turbo by 15 degrees as the air was directed to the inlet ,worth thinking about for race wars
Hi Vinnie, do those solid poly bushes increase road noise within the cab over oe bushes, & also ive heard that once the grease dries out they creak but it can be cured with ptfe tape. Good advice about those ageing nuts/bolts, I spray my nuts with jenolite 🤔🤔which does help.
To be honest with you mate, I’ve not actually fitted them to my own car so I couldn’t tell you if they increase road noise and yes sometimes they can creek when they dry out and yes mate, that is a good shout with jenolite spray 👌🏼

my son after the dyno session is annoyed, although his car made 340hp, he wasnt told until the car was off the dyno that because his car hasn't got cruise control he couldn't have the switchable maps, i asked if it could be put on the sport button and was told no, didn't even get a price reduction, so no pops and bangs which he wanted, i suppose its down to getting the right tuner, love to hear your views on this
@@RacinRitchieyt first of all where did he take it to get it mapped and if he gets the cruise control stalk and you’re nearby I can program it in for you. Hopefully you could take it back and see if they will put adjustable maps on the cruise control for you
@@RacinRitchieyt yeah I did actually try that but it just bogged out mate but hopefully next year will be better with it all set up properly and my drag tyres sorted out
@@Vinnievxr666I used to have an Astra J VXR for 4 years, and I have a couple of shorts clips of it racing an Astra H VXR. Absolutely loved it to bits, so efficient by putting the power down, but it was a tad too heavy for my liking. Can't wait to see you get the boost by gear done, I reckon you'd beat most cars you raced once that's sorted. Good luck 👍🏾
