My MK3 caddy is basic, just fitted cruise control stalk and MFSW kit to off eBay, it won’t allow me to code cruise control, will I need to upgrade BCM?
Hi, very good videos, i install ops in a b6 with red mfd, and i change the gateway module also because the old dont have module 10, now i am having a error with elv, steering columm does not lock, in can gateway in have 1 error from the elv, do i have to replace something else? Any help will much apreciated. Thanks
Hello. My module is faulty. If I replace it, do I still need to reprogram something with vcds? I opened the module because there was a sound in it and it was very oxidized.
@@lucyandronic4893 clean connectors or replace it then put new module and probably needs parameters if comes from different car. Make sure you get from same kind car, b7 passat if that is what you have.
@@lavianeverything Yes. I couldn't find the same code and ordered one that differs only in the letter at the end. 3AAxxxxxxB is mine and I ordered one 3AAxxxxxxD. Do you think it's ok? Will it fit?
Hi Friend. I have a Jetta MK6. I had a MFSW with ACC and CCS buttons, but they are not in use. I use the turn signal to use the CCS. I really would like to remove it from turne signal and use the buttons. I have a 549 B as Control Module and my gateway is HL too with Can Ext. I did try to check the VCDS options, but on saving process the message is.... Coding do not accept. Out of range. Thank you very much.
@@JettaMk6_Retrofits if you want wheel with acc to work will have to fit a special module, if youre in uk, look for Ubercode and ask for the module to get the acc wheel to work. In the video if you check my wheel, i got cruise on stalk and 569 module, you got 549, will not take same wheel with acc.

@@marjancfarku6372 Depending on the hardware version of this module, it MAY or MAY NOT allow Cruise Control Retrofitting, so replacing the Steering Wheel Control Module may be required. Is a highline module, where are you based? I think i have a normal one somewhere

Ive just bought a Scirocco R Steering wheel with 12 buttons just like the one you had. My setup is identical to yours except i don't have a DSG. The steering wheel i bought, doesn't seem like it comes with the original loom, but it does have all the buttons etc. what loom will i need to buy, or will my existing loom plug into the buttons and will it also need coding through VCDS for the buttons to work, or will they just be mixed around with random buttons performing random actions?
Hi , i have passat b6 bixenon with adaptive headlights , i changde lightbulbs(d1s) , and now lights are terible , they have short range , i manually adjusted them at max height (with the adjusting bolts on the headlights) but still very bad and short ranged. Is there any way i can level them or do something on vcds ? Thank you.
@@IrfanKovačević-m5v you definitely put them back wrong. You can do basic settings and adjust them, i don’t have a b6 anymore but was in basic settings or adaptations , have a look
i am lost, i have passat b6 high line 2008, the tire pressure light is on. Where is the location of sensors? each tire have one sensor? alsi what is this part on video? can you help me
@@code-mind you have ABS based TPMS if no sensors in the wheels, to reset you have to have ignition on and engine off then press and hold tpms button on center console, near ashtray, until you hear a beep.

Thank you but if it dont work, not sure how to fix but i also read on internet, abs sensor are responsible for reading tire pressure means i may change them and test again. But one more thing, on the back side of car, i also find TPMS module, this means my car has tire sensor or it gets signal still from abs sensors? thank you
It took me months to figure out what the hell these lower lights are used for. I know the clear lenses are the reverse lights and one of the red plates lights up for fog. What I didn’t know was these lights double for your running lights and break lights when your hatch is OPENED. I guess it’s a safety precaution when you’re open back hauling.

I have a mk3 Scirocco steering wheel to install in my b6 Passat but no airbag. Can i get a airbag from a mk7 golf or do i need one from a mk3 Scirocco?
@@lavianeverything Just to update, i have now installed a mk3 Scirocco steering wheel with a mk7 golf airbag in my 2010 b6 Passat. Everything seems works perfectly right away without coding. No fault codes in the steering wheel or airbag using VCDS and all button on the steering wheel works.
