Per quelli che vogliono giocare a questo gioco in memoria di tutti i soldi buttati: la rom di questo gioco che possiedo (scaricata) funziona con mame 185. Dovrebbero esserci delle versioni più recenti. Posso anche condividere tutta la cartella ,forse fate prima. Oppure procuratevi un set di rom funzionanti con questo gioco (rom) all'interno.
I first saw this game at a WALMART a long time ago. I thought it was just a cheap Street Fighter rip off from Konomi. It wasn't too bad. The move set mechanics are more simplistic when you compare them to Capcom, SNK, Tecmo and Namco. Konomi's forte wasn't really head to head fighting games as you can see, the gameplay isn't very smooth. Although, Yir Are Kung Fu and Galatic Warriors were released before Capcom's first Street Fighter game, Konami would not attempt another fighting game until 1988 with The Final Round which was boxing game. Later in the years they made this game, then Monster Maulers and finally Dragoon Might. Konami was more recognized for their shooting games such as Gradius, Gyruss, Salamander, Nemesis, Twinbee, Ajax and the Paradius series. They were also known for their Run N' Gun Games like Contra, Green Beret, Jackal, MIA, Devastator, Sunset Riders, Mystic Warriors and the license games ALIENS, Bucky O' Hare, Wild West Cow Boys Of Moo Mesa and GI JOE. They were also known for their beat 'em titles such as Crime fighters, Vendetta, Metamorphic Force, Giapolis and Violent Storm but more for the license titles like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Turtles In Time, The Simpsons, Asterix and X-men. Later on, Konami withdrew from the Niche market and focused its time on Slot machines, Mobile apps and The Beatmania and Dance Dance Revolution series.
One of my all time favorite arcade fighting games along with World Heroes and Samurai Showdown. I loved this and Samurai Showdown (first one), because the damage was so high. It focused on hard hits and timing was pivotal. Plus that big hit noise was just so epic and no game has since recreated that impactful SFX IMO. I just wish the emulation scene hadn't gone to shit and I could still get this title!
