Just got this wheel a few weeks ago (50s) and absolutely love it. Do wish it had a bit more range but I'm always going to want that from any wheel. Haven't upgraded pads yet as I've actually enjoyed the stock ones so far. It replaced my og Sherman as a commuter. Next purchase is the EUCCRAZY seat but the cost and shipping costs have been holding me back. Happy Riding!
@grb1969
@grb1969 11 дней назад
Get EUCRAZY to print up two dummy battery boxes for the dual battery conversion; this is the best feature of the v14-50s! For range extension, figure out how to charge 2 packs while using the other two on the wheel and you’ll have unlimited range because you’ll be able to charge faster than the other batteries deplete from riding. This will take about 10-15 minutes to switch out the batteries (when needed) but it will be faster once the manufacturers adopt a plug-n-play modular design system, which the v14 only slightly failed to execute. I’m looking forward to buying the v14-50s in a year or two when it becomes available at a more reasonable price but, if I could afford it, it’d probably buy at least 2 of these wheels (so I could ride one with 2 packs and the other with 4-6packs). 😊

Im looking at getting my first wheel as a car replacement, what do you think about a complete noobie getting a Lynx as a first wheel? Its over kill but its also not economical to buy something you out grow and then have to sell and buy something else later, I'd rather something smaller and much lower to the ground but being able to keep up with cars when your forced to ride on the road means 60kmph which means suspension and a voltage/battery size that can do it safely, is this logic sound?

Just got one. Pretty cool. Mine has a flip up trolley handle. Not sure about the 3 (or even 30) minute learning bit, but after 2 sessions totaling about 30 minutes I can manage to run it around a carpeted apartment hallway without too much flailing about. I figure another couple sessions and I may be at the point to venture out. I agree that it's a neat product at a good price point. Also agree that there are too many making snarky comments. Don't like it - don't buy it. Simple. I'll move up to the Ninebot Z10 I have on ice at some point, as I liked its feature set and build quality. It's outdated compared to some newer machines, but I don't need a top of the line model.

@rcgldr

There is no such thing as an actual power assist (maybe a translation issue). The motor can only match the torque that the rider exerts onto the EUC, otherwise the EUC would be rotating forwards or backwards, since the motor exerts the same torque as the rider onto the wheel+tire and the same magnitude but opposing torque onto the EUC. If the EUC is tilting with a soft pedal setting, the motor outputs a bit less torque to allow the EUC to tilt before matching the riders' torque. In the case of a tilt-back, the motor exerts a bit more torque to tilt the EUC backwards before matching the riders' torque. These so called power assists seem to be delayed pedal softness setting. For Inmotion, if pedal hardness is set to less than 100%, then commuter mode tilts at a slower rate than off-road mode. On the V13, if pedal softness is set to 0%, the top speed is reduced from 84 kph == 52 mph GPS to 53 kph == 33 mph GPS (unless there has been a firmware update that changed this).

Hello brother! I updated my LYNX to version 11 from version 7. In a "normal" fall it spun in the air and when it fell to the ground it had a brake that burned the board (perhaps a mosfet because the wheel was braked and it felt braked when spin). Was it version 11? Don't know; but with version 7 i have had worse crashes and nothing happened. Bad luck? Maybe yes! But I would like to tell you that in "fun" Off Road driving (it is 100% of my routes), I think I can say that only by adjusting the hardness can you achieve the same effect. Is he really an assistant? Is it well said? The wheel power values are the same! The hardness of the pedals is a more direct way to act, request and receive the delivery of power before and during facing the obstacles that you encounter...! In speed? Circuit? Maybe it's more comfortable? But it is still a softening of the pedals so that in more aggressive accelerations it leaves you in a more comfortable steering position (I repeat that making the pedals softer achieves the same thing). It is a personal opinion and I respect your point of view and your opinion. But do you think that "hard" OFF Road offers you better sensations/performance? Or do you think that by regulating the hardness of the pedals you are doing the same thing? You can watch my RU-vid channel and you will see my routes and the use I give to my Lynx so you can see what I think accordingly. Good video, welcome, a hug and a lot of strength for your mother!! Good luck!!🤙🏻

hey i just got a lynx, do you find that it wobbles more than most wheels? or does it seem to go away with more experience. I noticed your grizzla pads are offset, is that so your stance can be offset to help reduce wobbles? Ive been getting these sudden wobbles and its freaking me out to the point i dont want to take it out on the main road with cars. Im kinda regretting not getting the Sherman L instead. Does anyone have long term experience with this? does it eventually go away?
@MrTheJoem
@MrTheJoem 25 дней назад
I'm a noob but I've been on a Lynx for a few months and definitely had issues with wobbles, which are now largely under control. Try experimenting with suspension preload, dampening, rebound, tyre pressure, pad placement. Upping preload made a huge difference for example. Not sure why, but it worked. Locking my feet in same, again not sure why.
@millionairejh
@millionairejh 25 дней назад
@@MrTheJoem Hey thanks for the tips. Thats one of the things i did early on. I increased the preload cuz my theory was that it would bring me closer to the ground. I also got the pedal lowering kit and changed my pads like 20 times lol. Im waiting on some powerknobz right now. Im an average rider with some experience. I dont even get wobbles that often, im just scared if i go 40+mph and then suddenly get these strong uncontrollable wobbles im screwed. Its soo random too. im just wondering if its inherent to the wheel and will always be there. I know some people think all wheels have wobbles which is true to a certain degree. But the lynx to me just seems so sensitive to it. Like im sure setup matter a lot, but theres plenty of wheels where it doesnt.
@boltsydude
@boltsydude 24 дня назад
@@millionairejh I had some teething problems with wobble at first. 600 ks later I’m probably getting a little comfortable not wearing any safety gear. Pedal lower kits help. Drop your tyre pressure to low 20s psi.

I have a V14 and have tried a variation of accel and braking assist. What I think we need is overall assist AND ramp of said assist. The higher percentage I believe is how much it tilts but it doesn't control how fast it will reach that tilt. Having dynamic tilt would be the play. The more you push the wheel the faster it leans up to your maximum overall assist that you've set. So playing with the dynamic tilt means the wheel will flow as you lean forward and back tilting more if you want more acceleration or not so much if you're just cruising. What I've ended up with is 0% assist for both accel and brake because I don't want to guess the tilting speed, and I want it to react instantly.
