I have sailed Regent a few times,. The ships are stunning, the staff amazing and the suites are incomparable - but- many of the cruisers are intolerable, self absorbed prats or grumpy old Americans. it costs nothing to be nice people!
I love this. It’s nothing like our Christmas’ in the forest ( we live in the middle of one). And even though I enjoy our Norman Rockwell like gatherings, this would be a great get away… just for something completely different ! Thank you for posting this.
Feels like I spend Christmas in a cruiseship without spending a dime. Thank you very much for sharing this nice video of yours. Hope someday I will be able to afford this kind of luxury trip..
Thank you Cindy for these awesome videos on Regent's Seven Seas Cruise Ships ...this is our favorite cruiseline. John, is an outstanding host he is so real...
Ann M The seniors are the only ones that can afford the Regent. But if you notice I have only seen 2 little girls on the film. If you want youth go on the ships that have 5000 passengers Most of those ships are more family friendly.

8k a night, what a waste of money!!! That’s a lot of food for folks that can’t afford to eat, or money towards a habit for humanity house, wells for countries that might not have clean/potable water, etc...
I appreciate the knowing the prices. I might some day be able to go on that cruise.. I noticed most of the people they interviewed had earned their money and now are able to take time to spend it. And I wouldnt worry. Charities are a huge tax write off. They are giving plenty. I am sure
That's not how the world works, or how the rich work. Also there are may crew members who are employed on that ship who I'm sure love being employed and sending money back to their families in poverty stricken countries. If she didn't go on that cruise and keep that part of the economy going then who will? That money simply goes into the economy.
@@Cruise_227 Well I take by your response which was one hell of an excuse for the morons paying 8k for a boat ride, you don’t donate much to any charity or hell someone walking down the street that hasn’t eaten in days for that matter. Anyways, everyone knows it’s the middle and lower class that do most of the helping people in need
@@notapplicable761 You're fixated on how much the particular room costs and you fail, remarkably, to see the bigger picture. How the economy works and how the ship, and the cruise, line employs thousands. I can see missing a few pointers you missed the entire concept. Will you be finding new jobs for the 500 crew on that ship? Will you be sending money back to their families in their respective countries? Exactly, let the rich do it, lest you sell your computer and give the proceeds to charity...if that sounds foolish then that's because it is.
Beautiful ship, destinations, & holiday decorations. Very fun to watch. The guests were amazing to watch. Loved watching that huge gorgeous necklace purchase. (Just wish it was mine, lol) Thank you for the tour. Love the way the staff are so family like with each other, & how great they are with the guests.
Hey i was on board during that time! i remember seeing John Barron at that time and i was wondering what he was doing there then they told me he was recording that! (Because Lorraine was the appointed Cruise Director at that time so thats why i was a bit puzzled to have 2 on board) i am Ivan from Bar Department :D but unfortunately i couldnt video bomb this documentary :c although i saw a plethora of familiar faces!
