Hoping to bring more soul and life to music production vids. If you're looking for a more loving approach, towards learning to produce, feel free to join the community. I'll share my favourite plugins, processes and tips with you, along with tutorials and breakdowns :)
Jungle came from a long line of influences, not just Caribbean culture. People seem to be editing out the warehouse parties and rave side of it to fit in with The trendy narratives. The production side of this video is brilliant. Respect
Nice One!! Love jungle and as a producer it's fun to watch other producers processes. Would be great to try and make some jungle tracks! they are SO much fun to dance to!!
45 here! Love the aesthetic with the windows theme. I was looking for some 90s nostalgic computer music vids and stumbled upon your channel. Excellent vid and this made me want to listen to Squarepusher's "Come On My Selector" or "Tundra" again. Spring Heel Jack too! Takes me back to using Sonic Foundry's Acid software to paint/chop breaks up. Thanks for sharing! Subscribed!
Thanks for your lovely comment! Glad this could provide a bit of nostalgia <3 Good choice, that Squarepusher track is an absolute classic :) I appreciate you subscribing and I hope you’ll enjoy the next few videos I upload on here. Thanks for connecting my friend! See you in the next one
Honestly thanks so much fam :) I’ve been secretly working on my music in the background, whilst uploading these videos. I will release stuff this summer, some will be in this style. Really excited to share it with you <3 Thank you for this comment, it’s really motivates me, stay tuned!
Hi! Thanks so much for the interest <3 I’m releasing new music this summer, there’ll be songs in this style that will come out, along with lots of others. Stay tuned, I promise they’re coming soon! :) Much love fam
I love this take on teaching music production. I'm not a very technical mind. I try to learn the technical part as much as I can as I go. But a breakdown of feeling and vibes makes everything far more intuitive to me. thank you! Awesome video.
Yasss jungalist massiv! 🔫🔫🔫 90s raver approved. In my raving days I would lose myself in the jungle room/tent for HOOOURS, still listen to it today and ALMOST 50 y/os. Funny too is in the 80s I was big into ska.
Cool. Thanks! In the 90s, I went to the first Jungle club in Berlin, the Toaster. The MC still works today and shares the stage with people like Goldie when they come to Berlin. Thank you, Britain, for all this music, Jungle, D&B, Triphop, IDM.
Hey thanks! This particular one took longer than the others, just because of all the different filming elements (in the record store etc) but it varies per video. Glad you enjoyed it fam :) I’ll have more coming soon <3
I grew up on a lot of 90s jungle and d&b, I loved the added touch of the bird whistle. In the calmer tunes, they always fit! hoping you'll have time to upload again soon. And if you can, just for fun, try to incorporate more beatboxing into things! Even if just a means of getting more ideas out. If you get good you can always express what you are hearing in your head, And always fun to sample! no one asked, but I always hope everyone can express themselves creatively as much as they can, whenever possible!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video, I'm currently working on the next video as we speak :) I look forward to sharing it with you fam <3 Much love and hope to see you in the next one
