Used to go to this as a kid, watched Glory recently and was curious if this was still going on. Not as many reenactors as when I was a kid but it's still great to see this being done. Hope one day it gets as big as it was when I was going there.
Great video, thanks for putting it together! That’s not ore, it’s serpentine. There are intermittent outcrops all along the gold belt (including Hwy 49). There’s quite a large outcropping on the SE side of the bridge, just adjacent to the boat launch. ❤️ Bagby

It is so very, very, sad how we treated the American Indians, we could of learned so much from them, why did we the white man have to be so dumb, and foilsh, this song says alot, it speaks the truth, we could have lived with them, there was plenty of land for everyone to live together, but we had to greedy so foolish of us, like Geronimo once said all this land and no room for the appachie, why does the white eye need all this land, we could of learned so much, but we were so stupid, my Heart goes out to these people the American Indians, all of them every tribe.
I grew up in Hayward, graduated from Hayward High in '88. A bunch of those signs brought back a lot of memories, including Holiday Bowl, Caspers, and the Shasta bottling plant. I liked the interior shot of the Hayward Plunge. So many things have changed, and so many people gone - thanks for the memories!
