So if you're working alongside other welders they'll blind you because you've got an ill fitting protective mask. Good job 3M. Your profanely overpriced white elephants continue to be tax write offs for megacorps yet fail to serve the market you once had as loyal customers.
Does any of Versaflo TR600/800 filter offer a FFP3=N99 dust protection ? ( TR-6580E, TR-6310E, TR-6130E, TR-6110E, TR-6820E, TR-6710E. ) They all just only say "Particulate Filter" but what exactly is it: FFP1, FFP2=N95 or FFP3=N99/N100 ? Only FFP3=N99/N100 is suitable for heavy wood and rock/silica dust. So I need FFP3 particle dust filter cartridges for a TR-600.
So far I haven't seen a damn thing helpful for a guy working in his garage. Last time I checked there wasn't an instructor there to inform me if I need a small or medium! Sheesh
The 3M™ Scott™ ELSA Emergency Escape Breathing Device continuously flows ~30-40 liters per minute of air into the head top. This high flow of air dilutes/eliminates the small amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) that is generated by the wearer for the entire time that the wearer is using the respirator. The respirator is rated for 5-, 10- or 15-minutes.
Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, it is compatible, but we recommend that you look in the user instructions on what helmets the earmuff is tested and approved together with.
I have this and it’s massive probably the largest hood on the market. They show you from an angle and not directly from the side. They make it so it could accommodate the largest head not just the average size. The flip up hood is also inconvenient if you’re working anywhere that isn’t open area and need to grind. It does offer whole head and neck protection but I also own the 9100 fx air and will pick that every time unless I’m welding overhead.
Hi Jonathan, you may find all the information regarding the respirator fit test at s.3m.com/7czfnwyb. If you have more questions, feel free to contact our 3M team in the US at (1-888-364-3577) Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST, and we’d be glad to assist.
The nose wire should be flattened first. The triangle lets unfiltered air in. It's worse for larger noise bridges, but still an issue for smaller ones.
Siempre haciendo equipos increíbles. Gracias por existir 3M. Soy un fan de sus productos. Tengo el respirador 6200 xon filtros 60923. Más respiradores 9010. Son lo máximo.
Views of this and similar videos explaining the mask’s correct use ought to increase exponentially as government supplied masks reach the general public. I was given the mask at a pharmacy, but not told how to wear it properly in order to maximize its effectiveness (against coronaviruses) and also to avoid the effects of their misuse (note the warning printed on them).
