Pretty ridiculous that anyone would suggest we don't respect our elders. You sound like an entitled brat. I wonder how you would deal with Alzheimer's, dementia, or the various other mental and physical situations they are going through. You don't know what anyone else is dealing with. If you are dealing with a rude older person, it could be caused by a variety of unseen reasons... Like dealing with a narrow-minded young lady like yourself.
