Scripture records Acts. 11:26, "...the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch." Kingdom of God/Christ started at Pentecost and will continue a figurative number (1000 years) until the 2nd coming. Rev 1:1 says it is given in signs meaning all the talked about things is told as symbols that have meanings. 1000 years = complete period of time Rev 4-19 is talking about the roman empire against God's kingdom (the church) and they almost won, but like the parable of the smallest seed, God's kingdom will grow into the largest of all kingdoms ever (which it has). the Danial dream has a statue of 4 parts with the last = roman empire and a small stone from heaven (Jesus Christ the chief cornerstone) comes and hits that statue and breaks it up AND grows into the Mt of the Lord. (same as the parable). we are NOW in the kingdom of God and Jesus is NOW reigning as KING and HIGH PRIEST over His kingdom. 1 Corinthians 15:24 <-- at the 2nd coming Jesus turns over His kingdom to God the Father. we are currently in the "last days", the last age of time on earth. Heb 1:1-3 Jesus speaks to us in these last days. Zech. 6:12,13 He would rule on his throne, and be a priest on his throne. I think we tend to get jammed up the more we insist on taking all passages--especially prophetic ones--at "face value," and in this case, assuming the references to death and someone being "accursed" are meant to be taken literally. I don't think that's the intent of the author. Biblical authors were just like us: we use expressions, idioms, and exaggerations to make a point. "Man, we slaughtered them in overtime." Should our players be subject to arrest for murder? No. It just means we outplayed them. "I cried my eyes out." Oh, no! You'll be blind the rest of your life? Uh, no--the story was just an emotional one. You got over it, and your eyes are fine. "The child shall die at the age of one hundred" doesn't mean after a century of life, one will still be a "child" and will die soon thereafter. It just means death will become as remote a concern for everyone as it is for the typical child now. In short, it won't be a thing anymore. "The one who doesn't attain to the age of one hundred will be thought accused." What's that? Just that aging, as we know it, will have ended. One hundred years old is OLD, to us. But when this future state arrives (whichever one you think it'll be), one hundred years will be a blink of an eye--it'll be like nothing. Who wouldn't see their 100th birthday? It'll be inconceivable not to do so. But no one's actually dying or actually being cursed. It's just a way of saying, "Ridiculous to even think about death now. That's all over and done."
Is that the problem they are having with Isaiah 65 being about the millennial reign: people dying and being cursed? Of course there will still be death, and death is still part of the curse. Maybe I'm still misunderstanding, but it just seems obvious to me. Then again, I'm not too familiar with other people's doctrines, especially the strange ones (like the little season, thingy) that aren't taught in Scripture.

According to what its proponents say about it, it's not the eternal state, it doesn't actually fulfill any promises to anyone (because it's not eternal, as I said), people supposedly still die, and Christ's enemies are STILL not vanquished. So why has He departed from the right hand of God--in heaven--before that happens? He is supposed to be seated there "until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." Here's the bottom line: every teaching of the End Times cheats a little. This verse or passage doesn't quite fit, so we trim off the inconvenient aspects of it; we redefine that word to force it to fit, etc. Everyone does it, even if they claim they don't. Prophecies of the 2nd Coming are just as obtuse and nebulous as those of the 1st, which were often cryptic. Why should we expect it to be different this time?

Logic says you are wrong. The universe is extremely complex and precise so something like that could not have evolved from a void. It needs a designer, a creator. That creator would have to have created time and space, so it would itself need to have been before time and space making it timeless and spaceless. Only God as a creator would make sense.

Why overcomplicate? A tree is very complex, yet there is nothing there that can’t be explained as coming about naturally over time and in response to selection pressures. From a naturalistic point of view, things can be shown as just following fundamental laws and forces. Your point should probably be in where those laws and forces came from. I am not a Jehovah's witness and I agree with that woman's statement. He may be right that she is a Jehovah's witness, but he could also be very wrong. I think that a simple plain reading of the text shows that there is God the Father. There is Jesus Christ, his son and there's the holy Ghost. I think this jesus's God idea sets up a false dichotomy where if I say that Jesus isn't God in the way that you are saying it, that means that I'm denying the power of Christ and that's absolutely incorrect. I do not deny that Jesus Christ has power. God. The Father sent his son to die for our sins. I don't understand how that's hard to understand and and why you have to set up this intricate web of ideas to say that he has to be God or else he could not be sacrificed.
