Yeah they are around the west end right now, I have seen 5 in the last week or so and I plan on going back out for them once the wind switches up and dies down a little bit.
Nice vid my friend, night time filming is hard, maybe put the Gopro on a tripod nearby with a light and film the fight from that angle. use voice commands to start recording. easier when you have a buddy. Be down in oct planning on fishing Daniel's Head, i'll hit you up. peace
We used squid and got lucky if you want a good shot at one use fry or pilchard at night, tbf this is the worst time of year aswell they go crazy in the summer:)
Honestly they have been really spooked lately and won't even budge at artificials, I recommend using squid and weights to get it out there, and if you wanna sight cast just use a lighter setup weightless with just the squid so they don't spook. Artificials and flys are more for summer tbh.
