I post videos where friends and I go out and fish in southern California and share our catches on youtube for anyone to enjoy. On occasion we also upload the cooking of said fish,I'm not claiming to be a good cook but I'll sure give it a try. Thanks for all your support.❤️
I’ll give you some good advice when going for threshers cast kist your Sputnik out thme slide a whole mackeral down hooked it threw the tail they love that on a 5/0 circle hook mostly in the ealry morning is wjem they come out some times in the evening to amd if there is mackerel around there is threshers fact I have caught a 11 ft one 10 ft one to cast of the left side on the bottom not from the top just a fyi I use 70 pound braided with no mono leade just straight braid never broke off yet good luck you can use a smaller spider weight that one you use is to big tho I use the reales ones that collaps when they got it because if they can’t pull that weight out of the bottom they wil breaks you off before you hook them they got it with the tail first them come back and get the mackerel half do work sometimes but when I put a whole mackerel on it I get hit a lot more tho good luck and That pier is hard to cast off as there is a lot of people there tho I fished there last week no casting room but good luck
Thanks for all the advice I will definitely take everything you said into account. I Appreciate it . I hope I'm not too late into the season to land one this year
what is that Ray call? I have caught those many times but can't never find exactly which ray it is. if you know? even in reverse image nothing comes up.
Is there a fee to park in there? Last time i tried to fish there the lot was full because of a game Rock crab is open all season. It has to be 4in. You can't keep dungy inside the bay
@KnightOfZero117 Last time we fished there we didn't have to pay a fee but I'm guessing only when there is an event is when they charge to enter. The first year we fished there it was completely empty . Also thanks for the info on the crabing regulations he was just doing it for fun, only catch and release
@Chris-ly2lh it's called a sibiki rig size 6 and usually you do have to jig it but in this instance we would cast out and before it even hit bottom the macks would bite
Great vid bro, been looking for more local fishing vids since I do a lot of fishing from Santa Monica to Long Beach…also keep doin what you do and if people can’t understand the early bird gets the worm jus like fishing 💯
Bro I was at Belmont pier the other day and I saw a FUCKING HUGE thresher shark in the surf it was so close to shore there was ppl swimming further out than the shark definitely try throwing that shark rig close to shore
@isaacalexandercruz9045 yea, someone also sent me a video similar to what you're describing . Might have to give it s try closer to shore thanks for the info 👍
Sometimes I do put a bit of squid on my hooks but this time I was using the sibiki without bait. It's more convenient when you don't have to rebait 5 hooks after each cast.
I wasn't underhand casting because it was early in the day and there weren't any tourists out and about. Also the pier was extremely empty since it was raining but yea it's true that overhead casting is prohibited. I'm curious about how they pursue if someone does overhead cast,I see you say they will red flag you but what does that do?
Yea, I did some offshore fishing Saturday out of longbeach, and it was bad from the boatramp all the way out till Pier j. Once you get past the breakwall, the water looks 100 times better.
Thanks for the support,I've tried freshwater fishing and I am horrible. Me and some buddies did some aqueduct fishing and in 12 hours only got one bite and couldn't even land that one.
Nice stuff, good to see local action. You should hop on a sportfishing boat someday, they are about to all go full speed on surface fishing Catalina Island
Yea since it was my first time ever hunting I was a bit worried about bears so I tried to keep on trails where I can see a good distance all around only, but thanks for the comment I'll surely take a different approach next season.
Yea, the water quality in many beaches in socal are extremely dirty and full of bacteria to the point where most news stations have reported on it and said waters are unsafe for swimming. There are also warning on the beach itself about the unsafe conditions.
I can't seem to understand why you care if I wore "zesty" pajamas or not. Another thing is why are you asking if I really wore them out there as if you didn't just watch the video of me wearing said clothing ?
@@TAILGATEFISHING leave that for the females. All people ain't down with u looking like a BBW while you're fishing and then bending over. Just stop all that sus activity.
