I like the dry down of le jardin sur la mediteranee. I found it a little smiliar to kelly caleche. I smell a spicy leathery scent to it. Al hermes have a kind of the same dna to their perfume and i like it. I am a woman and i like un jardin en mediteranée.

I have tried both and they are quite different.. To me Dior Homme cologne really smells lemon. Like a fresh very tart lemon, acid lemon when you cut it and press it when you cook :) The Acqua di Parma is more sweet. It smells like Bergamoto, and sweet lime. Last thing, I think the Acqua di parma doesn't last long at all it disappears quite quicky. It's a shame because this is the one I prefer

Your review is SPOT ON... I smelled this at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong and found it SO intriguing that I bought the 100ml bottle... While I do not REGRET it, I also will not replenish it once it's gone... It's a lovely fragrance and it really does evoke quality... But it is WEIRD, like you say! Haha... I love geranium and that leafy green smell you described is DEFINITELY that, but it has so many other facets and layers that... While I don't find them UNappealing, I'm not in love with them either...! I'm going to try a few others by Malle and see how I feel...!
