Jeff was saved as a young teenager during a revival at his home church in Owensboro, KY. His earliest memories of growing up in the church were singing with his father and brothers. Music and ministry has always been a passion in his life. It was while he was traveling in gospel music that he met his wife, Melissa. Jeff sang with The Bowling Family (Nashville, TN) and The Greenes (Charlotte, NC). During his time in gospel music, he has appeared on TBN's Praise The Lord program, the main stage at the National Quartet Convention, the Brooklyn Tabernacle, and Gaither Homecoming videos. Jeff is a graduate of Kentucky Mountain Bible College (Vancleve, KY) with a degree in Biblical Studies and he also studied Church Music at the historic God's Bible School & College (Cincinnati, OH). Currently, Jeff is the worship leader at Valley Forge Church in Elizabethton, TN and tenor vocalist for Poet Voices, the quartet with award winning song writer, Phil Cross as lead vocalist.
Jeff I love watching your stuff. I remember sitting at youth camp seeing you sing with Mills, Mater, and Nichols. I remember saying, "I don't know who that lead is but I want to sing like him."
The “Hallelujah” album was a masterpiece. Best Greenes album IMO! “Oh The Cross”, “Heaven In the House”, and “We Love You Lord” among others still stay on repeat!

So true. Jeff I am a new follower from South Africa. I grew up with my Dad and Mom singing this at church conferences. The spirit of God really comes through in your singing. Blessed me so much tonight.
This song is something else. I ABSOLUTELY love it! I have to listen to it everyday. What I wouldn't give if Taranda, Jeff, Loren, maybe one more person would bring the Greene's songs back to life again. What a more tribute to Tony, to keep his group together. I don't know if his girls might like to sing too. What a blessing that would be. Please someone with so clout, get with Taranda and pitch this idea to her There is a certain sound Taranda and Jeff have together, and Loren sounds like Tony anyway....come on guys! Please let me know if this should ever happen, I will be the first one to spread the word, and be the first one at a concert if it close to me. Praying someone doesn't let this sound die....maybe Jeff, Taranda and Tim? What else could you ask for, add Loren. Please please, please.
