This was so good!! Here’s the recipe: 6 large beet 15 carrots 4 green apples 4 lemons 1/2 bunch cilantro It’s great for your liver, decreasing inflammation, and with the cilantro helps the body to eliminate metals like mercury. Enjoy❤
@@Sharperthanu1 totally! I’d recommend enjoying it in moderation. Being knowledgeable of the calories, like you are, will help you avoid over - doing it. Great point! 🩷
I've been making my own home-made "gatorade" .... no sugar added, 1/2 teaspoon of potassium choloride, 1/2 teaspoon of sodium chloride, genuine lime extract powder, and a little lemon for a little more flavor and a little sweetness. Being on keto and having our drinking water so heavily filtered, I am losing a lot of electrolytes and not getting them back. This drink seems to help.
The solution to low potassium is in the spice section of your local market. Look for Low Sodium Salt. The sodium is replaced with potassium. Doses can be measured and there are no oxalates.
Yes, It's name is "No Salt" It's actually potassium chloride. Normal table salt is sodium chloride. Sodium chloride is only used because it's much cheaper to mine that potassium chloride. It's a very inexpensive way to get your potassium level up.
white potatoes retain the vitamin c, some of it is lost, but they are still filled with it! And if you are concerned about it, you could use them in a soup where you retain the liquid they are cooked in
I think better sources of potassium should be used because beets, celery, potatoes are all quite high in oxalates and can damage your kidneys, thyroid and really cause a host of other issues re: autoimmune disease, RA, etc etc...
Most coco water you get is pasteurized ... that's a real big no no !!! Better eat potatoes raw! Most stuff in stores is manufactured in a way that it lasts "4ever" and that is the big no no! Stay real, eat real foods.
I have always heard it pronounced ATH lo sclerosis. Not ath LERO sclerosis. I don’t say that to be needlessly picky but because it affects a person’s credibility, and this is good information that should indeed be taken seriously.
Thank you so much! I'm having a big haha moment about potassium these days. I had a saline water supplement (electrolytes) and only now realised it has 30 times more sodium than potassium in its solution. I will bin it because I already put enough salt on my food. My ankles have been swollen all summer -maybe that's why!
@Maliilse75 I was having a big jump in my ankles and legs swelling. I mean serious cankles. Then I found out I was low in B¹ vit., I was eating very little msaf at the time. So I started taking a good B complex because B works best together, and slender ankles again. Yes please take potassium, I do, but try the B and see what happens. It is cheap for vitamins too. 🤗
If it is your goal.... cardiovascular health supposed to be your primary goal..... prolonged walks, brisk walks, breathing exercises, yoga (sensible stuff unlike mainstream bs) like Surya namaskar and pranayamam will be great for overall health if body permits cycling and rowing like workouts and top it off with squats and yes calf raises are epic, for blood circulation in the lower body , vitamin d and zinc would aid the process as well as whole foods (might not be necessarily fancy ) but foods like sprouted beans(done by ourselves) and legumes help a lot...... I'm sure you definately will be great and amazing.... God bless 🙏

It's difficult. I went through this with my stepdad Frank who passed away in 2023. I would rather have him here if I could. He is not in pain any more. Now I worry, about my Mom.❤❤❤❤❤❤
No one and I mean no one can understand all that goes into it unless they have done it. I don’t mean for a short time either; I’m talking through all the different stages but it is so worth it. I am so glad I am able to care for my mom l, who is non-mobile, for years (6+) and now, my dad is needing some care, so I’m caring for both. I love them so much. ❤
It is such a blessing to get to do so, I agree. And you’re right, no one understands unless they’ve walked it themselves. And I hope you are finding comfort in your journey❤
God BLESS you. SO MANY People are left alone and dropped off into a lockdown unit. Its hard..ive done it too. But you are the light and hope for humanity. There is love here. Our elders are not worthless, although a bit of extra time and care, it goes so very far for all of us. Your compassion gives them the dignity they DESERVE. I hope by sharing this you help others in the valleys or even wake people up to do the right thing. One most important thing and DONT FORGET...Take care of yourself. Try not to get burnt out. You are LOVED❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the kind words! And you are right. It is heartbreaking when they are left alone in a lockdown unit. They deserve so much more❤ Hope you are doing well❤❤❤
Every word of this hits so hard, after caring for my mother in her home for the last ten years of her life. We lost her last fall, just three weeks before what would have been her 98th birthday. Please be kind to the caregivers you know; most of us never complain.
We watched our mom dwindle away after she shattered her femur & had post op dementia, it was the most painful experience & longest 2.9 years of to watch this. It was a relief to know she was no longer suffering. ❤️😇
We had a class on the elderly and to them they draw 3 pictures one of their family one of themselves and last one of what they worked for all their life but they had to give one of the pictures to the right of them to a person. Then they had to give another picture to the left of them to a person so they left with one picture and then that one they have to give away forward that means that was on those pictures they had to give away and that’s what it feels like to be in a nursing home or not in controlling your life.
