All things automotive related, hot rods, engine swaps, conversion, fabrication, off-road, rock crawling, motorcycles, minibikes, Harley’s. You name it we have built it
I really love your shop. I'm a hobbyist and just have a Husky 52 inch tool box and later bought a roll around US General Tool Cart. I love them both. Someday if I can I'll buy an Icon setup like yours. I just have a 3 bay garage and we are strapped for space most of the time so I really like to keep things clean and organized with my hobby projects. Anyway keep doing what you are doing.
The folks that claim a brand is only good for a home owner and not professionals are listening to the tool trucks who have ulterior motives for discouraging potential customer from buying somewhere else.
Just ordered a 14b center section to build one for my overkill expedition build of my 80 k20. Gonna do triangulated 4 link front and rear amd just build for exploring wherever the winds take me.
finally, a mechanic with a large toolbox that isnt a snapon that costs as much as a house, glad to see people not buying stuff for the name and just for the fact it works
I haven’t noticed anything getting loose etc… I even have a habit of resting my foot on the bottom drawer while I’m standing at it, still very happy with it and I don’t see it having if any problems
Haters and dream crushers, there’s a lot of people with workshop envy. You don’t ever need to justify buying quality items for your workshop and for yourself, it is an investment.
I'm sad you skipped past the Adjusting Lock Nut assembly. BTW a caliper is not a micrometer, also buy your self a digital Mic and Caliper. "I wont worrying you all on the preload" Translation, it's to hard to film and edit it. other wise thanks for the video.
Thanks for the feedback, fully aware of the difference of a micrometer and a caliper but when you’re videoing and trying to build something and also trying to explain to yours at the same time, a lot of stuff gets lost in translation as you could imagine never been a fan of digital, went to college for machine and lathe
I wish this existed when I started out!!!! I would have went with this exact setup. you paid THOUSANDS LESS for this entire wall if ICON than I did for just my 84” Epiq. Wish these were around then but now it’s just not worth the hassle of selling, ordering, waiting, setting up, transferring everything…. Yes Snap-On is a better quality box, NO it’s not worth the cost difference. If you’re starting out then ICON ALL DAY BABY!!!
I’m getting excited! Thank you for making all the videos about your toolbox. If I can find a buyer for mine, I’m going this exact same route with the same set up and same color!
Really epic toolbox is something you pass down to kids , harbor freight icon will never last that long. Just moving it loaded , let's say to a different job , puts enormous stress on the frame, will not last
@@asodawg4389my $1,200 Matco toolbox/tool cart bought in 2012; was made in China. When I saw that; I was pissed at Matco since that same $ today bought a pair of US General carts, the famous 5 drawer as well as their 6-7 drawer with its lift top
Don't forget to fix the old radiator, change the water pump, change the hoses and clamps, flush the cooling system, add new coolant. Those old L 6 engines run hotter than the V 8's. If the fuel sender is clogged, you'll need a new clean fuel tank and fuel lines.
4100 for the hutch on my classic 96 snap on box the icon was 2999+299+999 box top and hutch along with 20% off was 3440 could have waited for 30 % off but got impatient
