Gidday Dan, long time no here. Are you still getting out mate? I had a breakdown last year wen my dog died, sold all my units, now in the process of building my gpx5000 and getting back into it.
Hey mate, I've been out of the game for a bit as we have moved to a new town and Kerry is working full time. I'll be getting into the swing of things as the weather warms up, can't wait. Sorry to hear about your breakdown mate but great to hear that you're getting things back on track. Take care
Hi Dan, thanks for the video. Just subbed to your channel. I purchased a 4500 from Miners Den Bgo. on the weekend. Thanks for de-mystifying the settings, looking forward to playing around with it. Cheers, Alex
No worries mate and thank you for the sub. I will be getting back out there as the weather warms up and making some new videos too. The GPX 4500 is an amazing detector and still one of the best deep gold machines in my opinion. I hope you find a heap of gold mate, best of luck.
got the 4500 and hoping to travel to the triangle to try how to use it mate , hopefully mite get some led if lucky gold ha ha mite bump into you out that way one day keep up your vids love them
Ripper place Dan, putting in the effort amongst the junk payed off mate, Good to see a familiar face on the Collingwood channel to, if you are a regular at the footy Dan let me know we can catch up 👍
Thanks mate. Don't get too many chances to go to the live games but I've been a die hard pies fan since I came into this world. I plan to get to a game or two in 2024 and I would love to catch up with you mate. Chat soon
Sorry about that. I will be getting a new bluetooth mic for the go pro soon and I'm sure it will improve the sound. I usually have the camera in a smash proof case and it causes the scratching sound as it moves inside the case. Thank you for the feedback mate and care.
Cheers Pete. Yeah I'll take it in any shape or form too. I will have to keep working this spot and hopefully turn up a few bigger bits. Take care mate.
thanks for the advice on settings, i recently got a 4500 from my sisters estate she passed away in 2022. ive not had the chance to use it yet due to needing new battery and power cable. this is all new to me and i want to continue her love of prospecting. i live in jeparit victoria not too far from wedderburn.
Hi mate, sorry to hear about your sister passing. The GPX 4500 is an amazing detector and one of the best for locating deep gold nuggets. I recently had to replace my battery and cable too. There is gold all across Vic and I am sure you will start finding some if you put in the hours. If you need any advice or anything at all, just let me know. Take care mate.
ive done the settings and going to moliagul early feb with a mate. ill adjust from there. my mate has gpz7000 so i hope to find more gold than him lol. i like wedderburn around queens gully road. as i get into it ill find other places of interest.. thanks again and good luck in your search.. cheers mate. @@RockAndOre
