Hello! Here in the JoeGamingAxe Channel, I usually upload long-form anime content and seasonal-overviews, If any of that piques your interest, be sure to stick around and see what's to come!
I did mention that there would be manga spoilers due to the fact that I felt the manga content warranted to be included with how important it is to Gojo’s character. I was considering doing timestamps on Manga spoilers in the same way I’ve done for my Dangers in my Heart video, but it’d be almost the whole thing.
@@idontknowmyname... ah yeah makes sense. If anything its mainly the sukuna section thats filled with spoilers. The rest of the segments don’t contain as much.
great video geniuenly liked it tbh never rly put mucht thought on gojos solitude/loneliness but it seems to have much higher impact then i initially assumed and big fan of the fact that gojo left geto behind with his strength and geto leaving gojo behind with his moral compass seems to be details that makes sense and only rly occurrs after watching or reading more thoroughly and would say the analogies of toji and gojo and sukuna and gojo were also spot on excited to see more
The struggle, reward, and trade off of either being a nobody or being the biggest/strongest and it seems like both sides want to be each other which is an interesting parallel. Although this video doesn't necessarily touch on this specific idea per se, I get this thought from watching this.
there is this one awesome muffin guy that you should include in your videos, perhaps a video format where you both discuss various story elements and story beats of a certain "type" of anime , you could call the series : What can we take away from ...
Its a bit of a slow burn but an enjoyable slow burn. It knows how to hit hard as their fights feel epic and are enhanced by their rarity not disadvantaged
This is a great insight into Frieren and the influence of Himmel not only for Frieren but for the world. One aspect I love about this anime is the demons and how their common sense is way different than the humans as they lack some emotions and would do anything to survive.
One of the best written concepts in this manga/anime, is the fear. The fear of confessing, the fear of rejection, the fear of losing those close to you, the fear of being alone, the fear of not knowing what the future holds, and the fear of not knowing if you can protect the one you love. All of this is very present in this story, and it hits hard. (Manga spoiler) There’s a scene in the manga where, (I think that it will get an episode this season) where Ichikawa is scrolling on Yamada’s instagram, and he sees a crazy fan that seemingly has some huge issues. Ichikawa keeps reading this fan’s comments, and they continue to get more and more deranged. The worst part about the whole situation is that this fan recognized a restaurant in the background of one of Yamada’s pictures. So here Ichikawa is, presented with an insane fan who knows where Yamada frequents, and the pure anxiety in that situation was so intense, I couldn’t help but feel it myself. It got so tense at one point, that I actually had to take a short break. I won’t spoil the resolution, but that scene was actually just so good. The fear is something that you can see in the whole manga, but it comes to its peak in the entire series at this one moment where Ichikawa genuinely fears for Yamada’s safety. I can’t get enough of this anime/manga.
Yeah, the stalker segment further develops Ichikawa and his fear of losing Anna, whether it be in the sense of her safety being in danger, or losing her in the romantic sense. I was originally going to have this scene in the video, but ended up excluding it due to having other scenes that further go in depth surrounding this. Thank you for the analysis on it though!
Good video, i got hit with all the spoilers but got the final motivation i need it to start to read the manga. I am not fully interested in anime analysis, the most closy related are some Fruits baskets videos, but your video was pretty good
That's fine. Appreciate you for at least checking it out regardless! I did put disclaimers on manga spoilers for anime-onlies, but I'm glad to see that I gave you the motivation to read the manga!
I haven’t watched the anime and I am not into this type of genre, but your in-depth analysis is amazing and I will give the anime a try. 10/10 video and can’t wait for the next one!
You really hit the nail on the head here with her character. She lives a life of contradictions, which is particularly relevant to an overarching theme of Katanagatari of life and death happening from circumstance and context. She gets stronger to get weaker. She plays around with what’s good and bad. She wants to die but ultimately wants to live. She treats Shichika becoming more human as a bad thing, yet she came to him so she could die with more human dignity. The light novel really made me love her character with some more thorough detail, but she’s still really impactful in the anime in her own right. Great video!
Overly gifted/overpowered characters can be a lot more interesting than your typical underdog character, but only if done correctly. that is why a character like this can have a lot of impact on a show.
