It’s about five minutes of cleaning with no chemicals (super important to my family). Pans are more difficult to clean and the stones just cook bacon the best! It’s not a big effort, but that’s my view. Have you tried cooking on stones before? I had not until a few years ago, it’s a game changer! Esp for baking!

There is butter and water. A little of both. Also I always cook eggs on high with stainless steel you can do that. We do quick eggs. It works for us!

Really any dry spice that you like. Fresh cilantro of course would be best, but I did not have it so I improvised, you could use a southwest seasoning, even a chili or garlic and maybe cumin seasoning to get a good taste! Oops I never saw this. Actually in the instructions it says you can take off the door as run water through it. I finally just did that. Made a big difference!
