I make things like artwork & music! I use many tools and instruments, most of them free or cheap. You can see my list of software as well as a bunch more art and tutorials at my website below!
Agreed, the sale is such a slap in the face. Had the exact same issue for my Dres station, struts magically disappeared. Kerbals are the minions of space. They could do so much financially...
No one will continue develop a game that has sold a lot of it's potential copies. If Take 2 manages to sell the IP the best we could get is that someone will develop KSP3
@@kromeboy Thank you very much! Unfortunately T2 is not alone with shutting down anything between cheap indie and AAA which is driving the current video game crash. The industry got so corporate that investors only want to see maximum returns. KSP2's ~200,000 sales already didn't stand a chance against GTA6's potential ~200,000,000. And as you stated, since they sold most of the potential copies already to suckers like us, there's no financial reason for them to continue right now.
Today Intercept Games closes its doors. Their Discord server and accounts are being handed over to their publisher, Private Division. Still no comment from parent company Take 2. ( Ironically, KSP2 went on sale again today.)
It's really hard to say, to develop everything they promised would have been a monumental amount of work. The original KSP went through many many years of growing pains to get where it is. To try and not only remake a game with such unique mechanics but to also add so much more in scope made it a near impossible task for a team unfamiliar with the original game. A true successor will one day come from someone's heart, not by a team of people hired to push out a product of a popular IP.
Kai Winn is one of the best portrayals of positional leadership - basically someone who thinks their title gives them authority and respect. This is the low to mid-level manager whose email signature includes their Bachelor's or Master's degree, which is also plastered on the wall behind them and is usually massively oversized.
She’s their spiritual leader. Her title literally gives her authority and respect by definition lol . That’s like saying the pope thinks his title gives him authority and respect. Yes. Yes it does. Literally by god.
But you wouldn't respect just *any* spiritual leader, anyone can say they are a spiritual leader and not get any followers or respect. "Trust me God wants me to rule honest". In my experience respect is given by people or groups of people and not through some objective external evaluation 'by definition'
@@jamesbizs I would agree that the Prophets/Wormhole aliens are perhaps Winns managers. She's a level 999 Karen... so those Karens have got to the board of directors and successfully taken over the entire company. They now harass other companies, to get better deals. and take them over... sabotage potentially superior competitors and if they can't get her way... they try to clean slate everything. throw out any former management, if they can manage(ha!) it. eg the time she almost become Bajors First Minister.. while simultaenously retaining her position as Kai. Tried to Karen away equipment promised to a specific province for a specific amount of time. she failed. it epically backfired on her. She remained Kai though. or the time she stopped the reckoning because she couldn't stand the fact that an outsider had been chosen by the Prophets or the time she forsook the prophets, tried release the Pah Wraiths... succeeded only to get immolated moments later. she Karened too far that time and it cost her.
Best Villains in Star Trek: 1. Gul Dukat 2. Original Kahn 3.General Chang 4. Weyoun 5.Kai Winn 6. Q 7. Alex Kurtzman 8. Borg Queen 9. Duras Sisters 10. Commander Tomalak
Kai Winn is by far the best because she triggers a visceral response from viewers. Viewers have *known* Kai Winn types in their life. The moment she appears on screen, they think to themselves "... Miss Snodtree from Sunday school... ugh" Just like Dolores Umbridge wasn't the big bad in Harry Potter, but she's definitely more triggering than the noseless guy in charge. Gaslighting, condescending, holiler than thou, etc. and all the while thinking she's morally right.
I know this is meant to be a joke but it actually makes a point. Kai Winn never said child with any sincerity, it was her way of trying to sound pious and wise but really she used the word to be condescending and superior. She used faith as weapon against others in pursuit of power and when she could would use the term child to establish her dominance over others
The writers gave Louise Fletcher a complex character with great lines, and she portrayed marvelously. Honestly, this was true of all the main characters and cast.
I like that Kira was a conservative and initially supported here against her liberal opponent (although he was her boyfriend). No simplistic "liberals heroes / conservatives villains" for DS9.
@@john.premose some yes but not all. It’s easy to see the worst of groups because the worst individuals and their deeds are more noticeable than the good people and works
@@raidntrade Ikr? Lol... Hey, we all start somewhere. At one point, Matt Lowne had to start with 0 subscribers to get to where he's at now... Just keep up the uploads and the views, likes and subscribers will naturally come

Thank you! This was actually a side-project because my upcoming Capybara video ended up 8+ days recording and I want to publish somewhat steadily. Hopefully the new patch today makes it a bit easier to finish, although I've already encountered a new bug that will make framing shots like these bowling ones more difficult (pausing and unpausing quickly now leaves stacks of big yellow indicators that persist until you resume playback and wait a few in-game seconds which is an eternity for trying to record). Thanks again for the comment and letting me hijack this to rant a little bit, hope to see you for the next one!
It was just a passage from Dune, you didn't miss anything. I actually adjusted that part several times to make it more clear and ran it by Mrs. Hank to test, next time I'll try on different sets of speakers and play with some more filters. Thank you so much for the feedback!
@@raidntrade I must admit I am at a bit of a disadvantage when it comes to audio. I have a ZVox sound bar to help me with that (has hearing aid audio tuning technologies) by making spoken language a little easier to hear so the compressed audio in your video would probably not make a good pass into this system. On another note though, I applaud you for showing your many failures, if only to show the learning process for those who feel at a loss trying to figure out this game. You would have been wise to build the stabilization cage to remain intact during the landing and laydown, even to have a separate set of parachutes for that phase concentrated near the top end. I found a hidden gem in the action groups available for parachutes where you can assign one group to repack the chutes and another group to deploy them again, or just arm them, which ever you need. This would have helped on your landing after the chutes were automatically cut so you could pack and deploy them again during the fall to horizontal. With the longer lasting cage however, you could get some more resilience on that impact and then decouple the cage after you settle. From map view, you can even destroy debris to clear it from the scene.
@@TitusVespas Thank you, I just figured out how to edit my subtitles! That part should be updated now, will go over the rest of my vids later! [Edit: in a few hours, YT processing time]
