I know the video says Silverados up to 2021, but my ‘21 Silverado console doesn’t look like the older models. Has anyone tried it on a ‘21 Silverado? I disconnected my onstar by disconnecting the rooftop fin, but my dash still picks up 4G LTE while driving. Just not as much as before.
I really wish I didn't waste 3 minutes to discover that you aren't actually wiring them up which is what I wanted to see on an install video. We need the downvote button again.
Over 7 minutes of showing off the car and your video making skills and maybe half a minute of showing doing the actual thing the video was supposed to show. And you didn't say how long it had to dry, why you didn't use primer, why you didn't do the outside too.
For my 2024 Canyon. It's $175 for Emblems and 200 bucks for install at my Dealership. Unfortunately, I might just do it there. I don't want to f something up on my new truck.
I watched this video, and bought this product to help with the squeaking suspension on my 1986 Toyota van. It does not work! The squeaking stopped for one day, and then was back with a vengeance. Since I don't want to crawl under my car everyday, I do not reccomend this product!
Do not over tighten the drain / fill plugs, I did and cracked my case :( you live and you Learn. I barely even put any pressure on it. I didn’t have a torque wrench..
My HHR's Emblems look like crap the others I've seen on that year also look like crap. So do I buy new crap for high prices or knock off's for less money
2021 lifted chevy 1500 started squeaking the other day. Tried this little trick and sprayed down the bushings of the control arms, And i b damn it worked. 👍
I have a 2012 Silverado 1500 with 1 key fob. I bought 2 key fobs off of ebay but guess what.....My truck had to be one of those that has to be programmed by a dealer. So, my choices are simple I guess.... Dealership or buying this from a auto parts store.
Strange. I have a 2012 that I don't believe has any lift. Possibly a leveling kit, but I only say that because it sits level. There's a spacer between the spring and perch that's about 1 inch (I would assume factory), and there's no strut spacers up front. One of these days I'll try to find a part number on the front struts and find out for certain, but as far as I can tell the PO did no lift. It's sitting on 33x12.5 on 22 inch wheels and I get zero rubbing anywhere, even under compression. When I check with tire sites many say 33's fit on stock suspension with no trimming required. Other sources say you need 3.5 lift for 33's. There doesn't seem to be any clarity to be had.
Great video. Just bought a 2010 Silverado extended cab and looks just like yours and I want to do pretty much everything you did to yours so I’m glad I came across your video.
I left my keys in my 2019 Cruze at the movies. I called Onstar and somehow remembered my pin number and they unlocked my door. For that reason only will I keep Onstar. I don't drive crazy like most people do.
Removed the fuse and replace with spare 2 prong 10Amp fuse from driver fuse panel. This side has spares in the panel that you remove to access the fuse box. . Onstar not working now.
If you don't trust OnStar to keep your personal information safe and private, how can you trust them to completely disconnect all data communication with a cancellation request?
