Its not worth it give 1200 € for straight pipes for some hot air believe me. U need to gain more than 15 hp from other things and then u change , i remember from old days , exhaust was the last thing we have to change. And its a signe that u are not a traveller with loud exhaust
Hello from South Korea. Could you explain or show me what have you done and how it feels till now? The garbage can is too complicated that I cant even figure out how to straight pipe it lol
@@kangacrew540 I’ve done about 4000km it does get better man more low end grunt!! I like the stock exhaust for the reason that the Yamaha sound engineer team that make the instruments designed the exhaust to be in stereo so both ears hear the sound! So if it can be a bit louder would be good
Hi Max Spies thanks for the vid it was great to see. I also like the look of mine but would like just a little louder so have been looking out for ideas. I have seen a post where you drill out the x2 exhaust covers and drill an 8mm hole then replace the cover. No one can see any difference and if you want to put it back to standard you just weld the 8mm holes back up. I was also told if you want louder just go up in hole size. I have pics of that job but can't see how to send them on here??.👍
I removed everything but it i think its not worth it. it was very hard to weld. i tought it wil spit flames underneeth the bike on both sides en make a better sound. they said it sounds like a cola can😂😂😂 now i upgraded the exhaust to Mivv. (aftermaket) sounds way better. Did ecu flash on changed every ridemode. now 126 HP on the wheel. crazy machine😍😍
@ 2:00 you can see a welt arond the pipe. that welt is weldet to the catalyser. it sits around 10 cm to de left of te weld and around 3 cm to the right of thr weld
