Where I come from there is a saying that is often used: Live and let live. Everyone should live the way that makes them happy and content. I hope that you meet many people who see it exactly the same way.

@@rentedambition6953 aw thank you so much for sharing your story! It means so much to me to hear from other trans folk. I’m glad you liked my song! You’re the best😁
Hello Sophie, it's nice to see and hear you again. I hope you're well, I missed your videos. I think you want to express your feelings with this song. Since my English isn't that good, I don't understand everything, but as always, it's performed with a lot of feeling.
@@herbitrdf thank you so much Herbert. It’s good to hear from you again too! I’ve been writing songs to deal with my feelings lately, and I find it really helps!
AHH you're too sweet! I've been considering offering lessons :) I learn everything from Greg Fairweather on RU-vid, if you want some really good bass lessons and tabs!
Hello Sophie, it's great that you've posted something again. I hope you're feeling well again. You've hit my taste again with the song, I think it's great how you live and perform the song. Keep it up! Greetings from Germany!
What a soothing voice, and excellent playing as always. Thank you for your courage to share these honed skills you’ve clearly put so much into- your passion in music is a gift for all of us.
Wow, that was great, unfortunately I don't know much about music techniques and so on, as you know. Either I like it or I don't, or it's okay. This cover was very, very good, I liked it a lot. Very relaxing, I listened to it three times. By the way: You really have to do something with your sister if you get the chance. Best wishes from Germany from Herbert
Thank you Herbert, I want to do something with Shema soon. I'm sick and stuck at home right now, but I hope we can record something next time I visit her.
You have superb ears and dedication to cop all of Jamie Jamerson's lines so well on this tune. Fine job. Ah... 1971, I know it well. That's just about when I started to play bass. I'm now 68. As a fellow bass player, I have always been intrigued by his brief pause at 0:33 on the C#. It's almost as if he lost his concentration just for a moment at that point, and then got back into the groove.
Thanks a bunch! It certainly takes one to know one when it comes to bass. I love how Jamerson barely puts any effort into his playing to the point where he just lets go of the song completely for a moment. Hes definitely the coolest bass player. Also I heard a rumor that he recorded What’s Going On while he was so drunk he had to lay on the floor! Imagine that
Aw that’s so sweet thank you! To tell you the truth, I bought this bass secondhand with the strings that are still on it, so I have no clue! All I can say is they’re flats
