Always loved this show. Robert Cobert did a fantastic job with the atmospheric music. The same great work on the original "The Night Stalker" tv movie, and "Dan Curtis' Dracula". Guess he was Dan's go to guy.
We got a American legion a couple blocks away from my house I'm thinking of having a renting out the Hall and hosting a blow out party this fall this video just gave me a reminder of what I've had in my mind for a few years of just renting the Hall and inviting the public
I got to play with Dave Choquette, Dennis Pittsley & Steve Medeiros. The band was SECRET. We played Chippies, Smugglers, Bogeys, Lincoln Park Ballroom, Kings Inn, West Dennis Pub, Compass Lounge . . . The songs we did were actually on the radio . . . Ah Leah, Remember (Walking In The Sand) AEROSMITH, A Touch Too Much, No Matter What, My Generation, No Secrets, Don't Fear The Reeper, She Loves You, And Your Bird Can Sing, Paperback Writer, Day Tripper, I Want To Hold Your Hand, . . . Harmony guitars, Harmony voices, cranked up Marshalls, thunder drums. We played the songs just like the record! Step Back! ! !
Ah yes, Smugglers, Chippys, Bogeys, Lincoln Park Ballroom, Alhambras, Whaling Festival, Rock and Roll was alive and well. Great music on the radio and record stores. MCcarthy Richard's Band, Zap, The Butch McCarthy Band, Moondance, The Photos, Opera, Secret, The Reputations, The.Slap, The Gluons, The Lads, Ageless . . . Fun days!
Rockin' Ruben is high talent. Every year we meet up at my cousin Mark's big cookout in Wesrport, MA. He plays/sings with the band. Don't know what they're called. Gotta ask him next time . . .
Back in 1980-81, Me (guitar), Dave Choquette (guitar), Dennis Pittsley (bass) & Steve Medeiros (drums) played together in a band - SECRET. We had 3 lead singers and did the songs spot on. The songs we played were intentionally challenging. We did Ah Leah, My Generation, No Matter What, No Secrets, Remember (Walking In TheSand) . . . Even the Beatles songs were the best. She Loves You, Paperback Writer, And Your Bird Can Sing, Day Tripper. . . Dave was always good for playing/singing exactly like the record. Dennis always picked the greatest songs, then played/sang them right. Steve played every song to perfection. We only did 2 original songs. One from Dave & one from me. Band standards were high in those days.
Smugglers Den, Chippys, Bogeys, Kings Inn, Bullpen & Lincoln Park Ballroom. The outdoor feasts all around New Bedford, MA. McCarthy Richard's Band, Opera, 0321, Ageless, The Gluons, ROXX, The Act, The Moderns, The Reputations. . . ALL THE BEST
I took lessons from Jim for almost 4 years, he was a kind man and had a musical ear and could hear a song once or twice and write the whole songs tab pretty damn spot on and taught with such love for what he does. The man got shorted in life and deserves to still be here passing his gift to the next generation.

Born and raised in NB. I love visiting and driving by this historic landmark. New Bedford with cobblestone roads downtown, the scent from the wharf is like no other... Man oh man, my dear New Bedford... Brain, your name sounds familiar. I was good friends with Tommy Rapoza in HS. Man, that kid could play hockey
I live fairly close to this mansion, and have driven by it many times. I am also a fan of Dark Shadows. I own the whole series on dvd, and I am watching it for the fourth time. I watched it every week day after school, as a teenager.
