Only just got my Helinox cot yesterday , first try the fabric has a bit of elasticity to it compared to other stretchers I've had before , makes it very comfortable. Easier than expected to assemble. The quality is really up there no doubt , the price is right up there too! The Paris Olympics has iust started now and I bet any of the athletes sleeping on those silly " cardboard " beds would find this cot so much more comfortable !
I have 6 Edge Rods and I love them and eventually I hope to only use Edge rods, even though I have some original G Loomis rods and Shimano, I want to use only Edge rods for all of my fishing techniques 🤷🏻♂️👍😎💯 this is a great video just to have Gary explain his process and products👏👏👏👏👏
I'm not fond of single leg guides. I agree with what he's saying but I'm willing to sacrifice a little to go with double leg guides. Purely for durability. Some single legs are okay. But some bend like paperclips! To each their own.
Do platypus super-100 have a manufacture date on the spool/package? I am sure that the line deteriorates after some time.I have recently purchased some spools from various suppliers however none of them have a made by date to be seen?

great video/explanation. I have been struggling to really understand side imaging and down vu, and I get it to an extent. I think my biggest issue is that I have been using traditional 2d sonar for so long, that I just know what I'm looking at VS the down vu and side scan. It deff has its benefits, but for me, sometimes I get frustrated and just use 2d so I know if I am wasting my time on a spot. Great video.
I had a spinner with a rusty hook so I pulled it off and connected the jig to the spinners end I think it is going to make a lot of funny movements and noise. Can wait to try it out.

I’ve been hitting the bass this spring with the jig spinners. Great lures. Set up one with a 1/20 jighead and a 2” zman grub, gave it to my mate at work, told him to tie it on with a improved clinch knot and reel it in slow with the rod tip down. He took it home, took his 12 yr old son to a local creek. His son flicks it, follows the retrieve instructions and bang! Catches a bass. Ended up with two. They’d never used lures before. Now his son is hooked, goes fishing all the time
