We have recently purchased 15 wooded acres where we are planning on building our next home. This channel will be dedicated to everything outdoors related, such as firewood, use of chainsaws, tractors, and much more. Thank you for taking this journey with me as we grow.
@@QuercusAlba01 I felt more comfortable at that height. I cut the stump lower later and split it for firewood. Not as efficient but I felt it to be safer as it is more comfortable for me
If you can do the work yourself or if you have a good mechanic, look into the various auctions that sell heavy equipment. We got a Bobcat mini-ex as well as a Gehl track loader dirt cheap. I also went ahead and bought a used hydraulic hose crimper set (on Facebook marketplace of all places) to be able to replace any lines myself. The crimper has already paid for itself within less than 2 years. If you still need something bigger, I'm sure you'll find a great deal at the auctions.
@@Robbinsfarm21 Cool. It definitely makes a huge difference. I keep a Woods backhoe attached to my Kubota as well as ballasting the tires. Seems to work pretty well.
@@yellow3222 I use the box blade for ballast and it stays on most of the time unless I need to use the chipper. This should help with not changing it out as much
Hey friend!! Just subscribed- excited to see your content. This one seemed fitting to watch considering we were just chatting about the saw mill and chipper! 😊🎉 have an awesome evening
