Great podcast, Jeff! I don’t know if you fully realize what a huge impact it has on the average Soldier, when you have guys like yourself, Eddie Penney, Chad Robicheaux, John Lovell, etc. share their testimony. I spent almost 25 years in the Army Infantry, with a couple tours to Iraq in 04-05 and 08-09, and I wished I had the courage to follow God back then. I wish for my family’s sake that I had gave my life to Christ a lot earlier. Even as a 1SG during my last deployment, I can’t think of a single person that openly shared their faith, except our Chaplains. Seeing guys like the aforementioned share their stories helped me in my walk with Christ, as I’m sure it had with countless others. Thank you so much!

Speaking of injuries, if there's so many problems in one's body I imagine it would be difficult for someone to deal with. As for me I lived extreme medical conditions for 40 years and I am still here. So I've been down this road before. Can't fix one problem without creating another problem so I chose to live until I die.
