This guy stole $1000 from a friend of mine and refuses to answer any messages about it. If anyone has contact with him please let me know so I can get this resolved.
lol the plant is great. my mom and I always debated if Audrey was female or male and it always seemed like the best of both worlds. this is very fitting.
She and half the cast should have received awards for Sling Blade.... They were excellent. I didn't know she was from Arkansas. That's pretty close to where I live.
This video and the imagination put into the production you've put together had inspired me as a playwright. It's gotten me to look at some of my scripts and reimagine the whole mise en scène and see if it keeps the continuity of everything in tact. I really like the Epic theatre approach (any excuse to infuse Bertolt Brecht should be applauded) you've taken in your set and especially the affect it will play in act two. You have thought this out brilliantly. I wish I could see your play in person. 'Into the Woods' is so important in reminding us that the stories children are told influence how they see the world. Keep making art. Bravo.
This is a new and innovative production of the musical, but the script and score that were licensed to us are from the revival -- a fresh take on the classic Sondheim and Lapine masterpiece!
Minor correction: There is no known relation between Dewey Phillips and Sam Phillips. I just checked their Phillips ancestry, both dead-ending in the 1700s -- still no connection. (Although there might be a common ancestor going back between 400 and 1,000 years ago in middle-ages England.)
Great performance of GODSPELL by the Arkansas Rep. Wonderful presentation of the parables of Jesus presented in a timely and entertaining way. DOC Crawford, professor emeritus, HSU
Your costumes, sets and special effects are spectacular! I have choreographed a high school production of this show and our show opens in two weeks! We are very excited!
Hugh Kennedy had the best performance I've seen at the Rep. Even with all of the other action on stage, you just couldn't take your eyes off of his character. Bravo.
The good ol' days - no music formatting for Dewey, no repetitive play lists, surprises galore. No wonder folks liked it. They say you can't go back, but shucks, I'd like to.
