Just remove jumper, booting, go to Bios Setup and security. Go to setting password, when error jumper is displayed, put jumper and define new password. Not remove battery.
Need help please: I do the same steps with my prodesk 400 g3, i want to upgrade from i3 7100t to i7 7700,but the system make sounds of error, and whan i look for the problem in hp official website, i found that the problem is of the lusted below: then four times, the white light flashes short (3 long red, 4 short white) This condition indicates a possible malfunction of the power system. Reduce to the minimum configuration (CPU, system board, power supply, 1 DIMM) and isolate the failed components. Reduce further if the problem persists. Test your system using a known, good power supply. Contact HP Customer Support for further assistance in replacing the component, system board, processor (CPU), or CPU module if the problem persists
That would be Core i7-6700t (4 cores, 8 threads), but it's quite expensive. Core i5-6500t (4 cores, 4 threads) is slower, but cheaper, so i'ts worth considering. (i3-6100T is a cpu with 2 cores and 4 threads)
This is the answer. I pulled the jumper, booted and hit F10 . From there I was able to reset it back to factory defaults. Easy as pie on the G5. Thank you!
i have these headphones many years. this problem started like 2 years ago. I read somewhere (on internet) to connect them on the charger, disconnect them and the second will work too. Wasnt something risky so i did. It worked until now. But it wouldnt work anymore. So, i tried what this video said. YES, IT WORKED. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!
Buna ziua....As ruga pe un specialist in domeniu, sa-mi spuna ce fel de tranziztori power mosfet se folosesc in etajul final in clasa D al mixerului amplificat Dynacord Powermate 1000-3.....si eventual de la ce firma, producer.......Va multumesc
Help plz....I have Lenovo Thinkcentre edge 71z aio pc, similar style to this one, and it has Pentium 4 sandy brige processor of 2011 model with 2.60 GHz CPU Speed ? What is best option to update it
lenevo specification says you can only upgrade to i5 2400s and 16gb ram. So 2600 i7 works fine ? Have you updated the bios ? What is the bios version you have ? what about temps ? i want to upgrade my sons aio from i3 2100 to i7 2600 but its very risky I think
2400s is only 2.50ghz .... 2600 is 3.4ghz, I'll be finding out myself soon enough, I got the cooler the i7 setups had as I don't think the one that came with the 2400s will be good enough, seeing as the operating temps are different as well as the watts. I'll have to get the dual fan setup still but at least one end will have the fan and the other will at least be passive cooling since there is more fins on the i7 cooler set-up, as well as 8gb of DDR3 1333 vs the factory 4gb in only one slot on the B520e ( 3111 ), I'll know what is going on keeping an eye on HWMonitor, I could be wrong but I believe the PSU is the same 250w set-up.
So, I've dropped in an i7 2600 into my new to me, Lenovo type 3111 B520e AIO. As a precaution for temps I also put in the factory cooler for the B520 that has the two heat sink fins, for now I have the one fan but a dual fan on the way, but the one side will work as a passive cooling set-up with the fan still blowing through the one side. The highest I've seen the temps on the HWMonitor is 52°c and the lowest is 28°c. I also put two 1330mhz ram sticks ( 4gb x 2 ) vs the single 4gb stick it had and both setups were working dual channel, and that works as it should as well. When you boot up though, you have to go into via the search option on the task bar, system configuration - boot - advanced boot options, and uncheck the number of processors and the maximum memory, click ok, then click apply and restart, otherwise you'll only be using half the CPU ( 2 cores - 4 threads vs 4 cores - 8 threads ). After it restarts you can check it with task manager and it will show the 4 cores and 8 threads in use, you can go back into system configuration and then check the box for number of processors and choose 8, and check maximum memory, click ok - apply and restart it once more, it boots up pretty quick. The O.S ( operating system ) was already upgraded to Windows 10 when I got it, as well as an SSD instead of the HDD, so it wasn't really that slow prior. CPU-Z shows everything in working order as well, and the bench feature went from 1030 multi core and 296 single core with the i5 2400s to 1650's multi core and 310 single core scores with the i7 2600. Zero issues Soo far, and I used MX-6 thermal paste on the CPU as that's just my preference. I think you'll be fine, I didn't have to do anything with the BIOS but I believe its locked by Lenovo anyways as to what you can do with it and I don't know how to unlock it. Again, I've had zero issues with it for the 5 - 8 hours since I did all this. On my motherboard, I only have ( or at least see ) just one 4 pin connector for the fans, so I'll be buying a 4 pin Y splitter for the factory dual fan set-up so I can run both fans and checking to see that it works.
So today I got my hands on an Intel 8265D2W WiFi card, downloaded the driver ( before taking the old factory installed one out, support discontinues after 6/30/24 btw for the Intel 8260 and 8265 cards so I'm glad I got it done today for $12 😁), installed it, and now it has both 2.4 and 5G, I didn't touch the Bluetooth daughter board for the keyboard and mouse and it worked perfectly fine on start-up.
