yes, you have to set up the situation. you cannot expect the squirrel to do something funny for our entertainment. I admit I was sure it would get stuck in the jar.
Yes they love nuts in all forms! There's a lady who feeds them biscotti, never seen such excited squirrels. They're like "Bread no, a cookie, wait almonds this is nuts!"
I have been feeding two squirrels here in south Texas out of kindness but they have suddenly disappeared, I wonder if some humans have learned how to prepare fried squirrel. My old friend from long ago taught me how to hunt them and fry them when I was just a boy.
Eleven years ago it could've been funny, nowadays it's cruel. Don’t do this to animals, their head can get trapped in the jar, plus it has sth that looks like a nail. Love and treat them in the same way you’d like to be treated
This is a squirrel and it is not cruel by anyone's standard. I provided the guy with a free high protein meal. His head cannot get trapped since the jar isn't tapered. I also feed birds. I bet you can find a problem with that as well.
They are but cute, too. I have a squirrel in my garden and I put peanuts (shelled and unshelled) in dish. He tried to run off with the whole dish ....I suppose he got tired hiding them one by one 😊😊😊
@@apollonia6656 I also find if you have multiple squirrels grabbing food put out for them, 1 or 2 of the squirrels become possessive and try to chase the others away from getting any. Squirrel probably saying this is my food, go away, you cant have any. hehe
