Looks great and on silver . May I ask where did you get the large nylon board you pulled from rear of car from ? How did you attach it to the stap hole with link ? Clamp?
Thanks, Martin. That was my initial plan. However, being that this is the convertible, the 3/8” hole is closed off and the window regulator is directly behind it. Even though this looked pretty straightforward, I still had to work for this one, as the access was tricky. Thanks for stopping by to check it out and hope all is well across the pond.👍🏻
@@cfldentrepair I did think you’d already know this! And knew there was a reason for going in the other way 🙌🏼 I bet it was nice fixing a small dent for once?! All good here, il see you in January at MTE 👍🏼
My brain refused to understand but the process absolutely worked, though I had to hit my thermoflask a bit more, but result was still very fast. Thank you for saving me the headache and trying to find dry ice.
@@cfldentrepair thank you for the quick response was just trying to get a ballpark figure as I’m looking to buy a 2018 deluxe that has two small quarter size dents in the side of the tank I need to know what it would cost in order to negotiate sale price
very impressive Brice, was that stretch pole used first, air or hydraulic? You seem to always win and be willing to try and exceed customer's expectations.
W O W, That is amazing repair work that you did. You make a very good point that just because the vehicle is an EV. It can still have body panel damage repaired at the impact location. I am still trying to understand how on the Rivian Truck "the rear glass is one-time use". WHAAAATTTT?!?!?! If rhe glass is not damaged and is removed in lieu of structural repair, why can't the glass be cleaned up and reinstalled? Can you please explain this??? Great vid Your work is fabulous.
With all due respect, a propane torch isn’t going to shrink metal without first damaging the outer paint coat. You need isolated high heat to the back side to get the metal to glowing red temp without burning the paint. That’s exactly how these machines work.
Typical hail claims can go anywhere from $2K to $20K depending on the severity of the damage. Industry software/guidelines are used to determine dent count, size, removal & installation of parts and additional factors that apply per panel. 👍🏻
