I can hear the original Technics flutes mixed with the Hammond expander. Maybe you wanted this mixed effect, but in case you only want the flutes from the XM2 expander, since you can't mute the Technics sound, there is a trick: De-select all the Tabs and percussions, you'll obtain a muted sound, then from Orchestral Conductor , select Tabs. In this way you'll only hear the Hammond expander sound, not summed with the organ tabs.👌Greetings
Who is not playing this marvelous composition from George Shearing including myself. But rarely I find a performance I can agree with. I was listening to your performance with pleasure. Bruno Hoff
This is a GX7, not an EX70. Not the flute, but the rotary effect isn't very good on those Technics, however, going into settings and modifying value for high and low frequencies, its possible to get a decent sound. We talking bout of 40 year old instruments, they were advanced for that time. I have a G6 , a C700 and a SM-AC80 (expander version of the GX7).
I like the fact that Jon sings while playing sometimes, it's like he connects with the guitar...man I wish I could meet him and talk to him someday, Jon Larsen is one of my musical idols
