@pscruising5486

I do use the Ascent mode when it applies, i.e. where I want the Jeep to figure it out. I have found using auto mode in 2nd gear really smoothes out the throttle. Also 2nd oe 3rd in rock mode. Descent mode is descent...lol... I use it on occasion. If super steep, just the normal brake.

Awesome video! I recently took delivery of a 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with the Hemi V8 and Security Protection 1 and 2 but did not get come with Rock Rails! I have been Looking at Chief Products but the MOPAR Rock Rails can be installed by the Dealership and keep everything under warranty since I got the Extended one because of all the Electronics and the Air Bag System! How do you like the MOPAR Rock Rails? as a side note I read in a forum that Mopar first generation Rock Rail had a small Side Step Similar to the Chief Product have you seen or heard anything about that one? Great Video! I was hoping to take my Trailhawk to the Jeep Jamboree in Ouray Colorado this year but will be busy with a family function so will have to wait till next year, I was out there back in 2000 in my 1998 Grand Cherokee Laredo Up Country V8 when it was a Magnum 5.2L engine but I much prefer the Hemi 5.7L.

Aaron Young I have a 2016 JGC Overland, Trail Rated. I ordered it here in Atlanta, GA, to my specs. Took delivery of it here in March 2016, drove it in the States for almost a year and in April of 2017 had it transported to Greece where it remains to this date; I use it there from April to October of every year as I spent half the year there, rest here. I do some serious off-roading, though not extreme. I never had any issues with the suspension...or any other ones with my Jeep. The only small problems: around 7,000 miles the leather on the driver's seat, under my left thigh, as I go in and out, started to show some wear and tear; and the header on the rear right passenger seat, where it is next to the coat hanger, has a small tear, since I bought, but did not notice it then until later. Terrific car on and off road...either daily driver, commuter or adventurer. One of the best three cars of my life thus far; I am 72 yrs old, and have purchased thus far 38 cars in the eight countries that I have lived in. That should tell you something, no? Oh, yes...I forgot to add: no mods on mine! Still as it came, virgin from its mother.

Hi and yep I am running the 265 Hawkens. That is still a 31 inch tire. No rubbing at all on the trail. In aero mode, only if you go hardover with the steering and then just barely. Stuff you cant see is the armor from Bill over at Chief Products. I got rid of the two plastic pieces ( front plate and case cover ) for the real stuff. Also put Mopar rock rails on. Like to compare thoughts sometime on future stuff. More vids to come!

let me tell you about the capabilities of the trailhawk. it will take me places im too scared to go to. needs a few things to turn it into a complete monster.: 1 bigger tire. 32 inch KO2 ftw. will give you 0.7 addional inches of ground clearance over stock. 2: a 20 inch hidden light bar by rough country because the headlights are barely adequate for lit roads. 3: rock rails from anyone reputable or Chief products 4: if possible a hidden winch bumper and winch from Chief products, if not possible, or even to supplement a winch, a set of X bull or maxtrax traction boars, a long handled shovel, heavy duty ratchet straps, high lift jack and a More Power Puller and soft shackles. Basically asides from 1K for tires, another 1K and you will be all set. The End. It will take you to the end of the earth and back
@pscruising5486
@pscruising5486 5 лет назад
You and I think alike. Since making the video, I have added all the armor Chief products makes, mopar rock rails, I have the hidden winch mount sitting in the garage because I need to adapt it and the base plate for towing it behind my RV. Havent decided on where to put lighting. I like it on the Rhino Roof rack but also in the grill area. I have the maxtracks, and accesories for recovery. Cheers
