I just got a 2024 ninja1000sx ❤and I love it! I love the anytime torque, smooth powerful engine, comfortable riding position, also it feels light weight and both the lights stay on on low beam.
I almost bought one in 2003. It looked really cool, but I chose the 2003 Kawasaki ZRX1200R because it was far more comfortable. The 2003 Z1000 felt too short in the seat to handle bar distance was too short . I felt like I was jumping over the handle bars with my long upper body.. But this was the 2003 Z1000, the 2024 is probably a lot different.
There is no hill hold and no six axis internal measurement unit on Honda. I would never buy this bike without that or less money. I can buy this Suzuki 1050 XT adventure.
There's traction control on every bike. It's called a throttle. If you struggle with that concept, buy a nice little hatchback and the proper riders get on with it.
awesome accomplishments brings to mind a Spaniard Charlie Sinewan who rides around the world on ADV’s. keep it up I also was influenced by your adventures.
It's very close to one of the best touring bike's IV owned over the last 60 odd years i bought mine new back in 06 and it's never let me down after nearly 20 years and 165000 odd KMs she will probably outlive me iv seen the FJR Yamaha with some doing well over 3 and 4 hundred thousand kilometres it is a bit top heavy but when you're out riding this bike you really don't notice its weight to much id highly recommend the FJR 1300 for it's reliability smoothness and it's pretty easy to loose your licence
Yamaha definitely hit a home run with this entire engine and frame combination. They worked on the earlier versions, to make this one, and it's sister bikes, run so good and handle so good, riders really love them. Definitely one of the top bikes on my buy list.
A seat height of 27 inches is best for the weight, and near perfect for those who are not long in the legs. The bike is an interstate cruiser. Yes you can run it as a daily. Should make a nice cannonball runner. As for the price tag, well, nothing is cheap.
I just bought one, saw it, had all the extras on it, low miles, saved a fortune, stunning bike and stock exhausts sound good enough. 👍 saw it last year but didn’t get it as too expensive but now 🤣😂🤣
