Hi there. I’m a stand up comedian named Joe List. I’ve been on the Tonight Show, Conan, The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Something with James Corden. I have a half hour special on Netflix (Season 2 of ‘The Stand Ups’) I got another half hour special on Comedy Central which you can find on their RU-vid page. Also I have a one hour special called “I Hate Myself” on RU-vid. A whole bunch of people have watched it. I cohost the podcast ‘Tuesdays with Stories’ with Mark Normand. I get that you don't want to burn material by posting them on the internet before a special but these clips are always just the same exact type of crowd work over and over and over and over.... like maybe tell an actual joke
If I lived in NY, had money and liked leaving my house. I’d be at the town hall show Joe. Unfortunately I’m a broke, shut in that lives in NH and can’t drive until January.
This is genius marketing: Go to your smaller gigs. Spend the whole set promoting your bigger gigs. and eventually you'll make it to the MSG! Brilliant Joe!
Joe, you will sellout Town Hall and your next special will get 10+ million views if you just do the David Lynch episode with Louis CK (and maybe Raanan)
Got to hang with Tom & Kristen at Grove 34 the day before the premiere and the way Tom described it had me wishing I could go see it man. Sounds like it’s a great watch!
