Hi Mark, a;ways been there up to 89ish...seen you hordes of time since 82, until DWD left... I have a question though...Having just rewatched the Garden Party video, how much of that was inspired by being in Aylesbury? Given the age you are all now, would you put the same emphasis on class?
Hi...Came to see you back 1st tour after Fish left.... Was disappointed, not really revisited. give me a reason...what song is most like Garden Party, my fav DWD song....Or shouldn't i?
I’ve seen marillion twice in my life once with fish and the second with Steve both absolutely brilliant both in there own way , couple of weeks ago neverland came up on my playlist , this gets played every day as I just love this track , so powerful , almost makes me cry 🙂❤️
Happiness might be the road...BUT, the road to happiness, is experiencing Marillion. A live concert with them is a love fest, among their fans. They come from throughout the world, I myself travelling to London from America, to see them at the Astoria, for back to back nights during their "Marbles" tour. Worth every penny of the flight, hotel and concert. I love these guys!!!!
i like when a band still performs songs from olders eras even if they were sung by different singers initially, i think it's a mark of respect to the band as an entity bigger than the members themselves. Whether you like it or not these songs are a part of Marillion's history so Hogarth has completely the right to sing them, and he is doing a stellar job at it. I don't have nostalgia glasses on cause i first discovered the band with Marbles, so for me Fish voice always sounded a little squeaky on the first album, a classic case of "80s singer syndrome".
