Now that I think about it, I think this video got me into Emerald Web like forever ago... I mashed this track with S.E. Rogie's "Do Me Justice", it's on my channel called "Do Me Jangus"

I'm straight up ❤️ing this 1975 Commercial..... I'm not kidding! Seriously ⚠️..... This is the best futuristic (pre computerized/psychedelical) art commercial that I have ever seen in my entire life......... The trouble with me is that, I was born in 1977..... two years later, after the 7-up commercial was aired...... 48 years later today in 2023.....?!? Well...!?!??🤔🌈🍦💙🤍❤️🇺🇸 This is very artistic and creative... Hi Tech '70s..... indeed... Thanks Alot for Playing this video 🌈💙🤍❤️🇺🇸 The best distinguished advertised commercial ad ever.

For the record, Robert Abel and Associates was slated to handle the SFX for the then-proposed 1977 series Star Trrek: Phase II. When that project morphed into what's now Star Trek: The Motion Picture in late 1978 into 1979, it was revealed that Abel's cameras couldn't sustain the format of motion picture production (they were solely designed for TV). Plus the company didn't produce one shot of SFX footage so as a result, Paramount fired Robert Abel and hired Douglas Trumbull and John Dykstra.

Thank you so much for uploading both this and Making OffOn. As someone who is not from the US, watching Scott's movies is very difficult. You made it less impossible, though, and I appreciate that a lot. 🇧🇷❤️

Yes, the effects were created by the artists at Image West. The Scanimate was a large wall-sized analogue computer made in the late 1960's. There were only a few of them (only 3 that I knew of). Image West was in Hollywood at that time, but later moved over the hill to Ventura Blvd. I was there later in 1984-87ish, when the place closed. The feedback effects were most likely through the first ever Ampex DVE. (I believe they had the first). Ampex later improved the DVE, not allowing feedback. Image West was the first special video effects studio in LA. We also had the first Wavefront and Symbolics 3D system in LA. (Wavefront later became Alias-Wavefront and then Maya, owned by Autodesk) Several of the Image West artists from these earlier years are still active. Ron died in the late 1980s. Frank Serafine was in charge of Ron's videos. Frank died two years ago - hit by a car. I do not know who has the rights to any of Ron's videos at this time. To the person below: The analog Brainstorm effects were created by myself and Brian Samuels - not Scanimate. The effects were created through my Synopsis Video system - engineered by Rob Schafer. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0VdLVwDwm7s.html
