America in prophecy! See below: We can know "when" we are on God's prophetic calendar. It is written in the book of 2nd Esdras. Chapter 11 contains a prophecy that describes a line of American presidents, four of whom are still alive, and two of them are being kept until "the end." All of them are old men. "The end" is fast approaching. I have condensed the prophecy into a series of short lessons - my gift to you. Please allow me to guide you through them, step by step, and into understanding. Blessings to you and your loved ones.
Thanks for the comment, however, the books of 1 and 2 Esdras are not part of the biblical canon that we affirm. Our challenge is for you to continue to study the book of Revelation. Be blessed.
@@McGregorBaptistChurch The 2nd Esdras prophecy was written centuries before the United States existed. It correctly predicts a line of 15 America presidents, starting with Hoover. It has been fulfilling in exacting detail for 95 years - with no mistakes. Please examine the evidence.
@@TheMastersHarvest Our encouragement is to continue to look at the closed canon of scripture where 1 and 2 Esdras is not included because of some problematic historical issues with 1 and 2 Esdras. There is harmony and no contradiction in the closed canon of which we have. Thanks for commenting.
@@McGregorBaptistChurch I focus on 2nd Esdras chapters 11, 12 and 13. They are "the baby that was thrown out with the bath water." You do yourself and your followers a strong disservice by rejecting them before you have even considered them.
Out of context!! Bad exegesis. Although I do agree if someone just repeats words WITHOUT really knowing the gospel and believing it it’s just words. Just like if someone walks an isle in a church, it is not the prayer or walking that Saves it is if you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ alone and His finished work on the cross that saves a person from the penalty of their sins from a hell they deserve to a heaven they don’t. Ephesians 2:8+9, salvation is a free gift received by faith in Jesus Christ. But like Ephesians 2:10 goes on to say “ 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we SHOULD walk in them.” Let’s not be fruit inspectors. It is God will that we walk in them, and we be blessed here and at the judgment seat of Christ, but since the Bible clearly states salvation, being justified from the penalty of sin , is a free gift we cannot come back and say you have no fruit so you’re not saved! God chastens those that are His Children, look at the Corinthian Church! He took some of them home early.
Not sure if there is a question in there, but you can always reach out to our church office and share your question/concern to any of the staff pastors. God bless.
Jesus was from ancient times? the infers a beginning. Jesus was from everlasting is what the real bible says, no confusion. use the real bible not modern versions.
Hello. We are not sure what you are specifically asking, but to help better understand we encourage you to reach out to our church office directly and speak to a staff pastor at any time. God bless.
Even though I attend the Sunday morning services I find that I miss so much. I love that I can watch the sermons again on RU-vid at my own pace. Pausing where necessary to meditate and soak it all in. There’s so much to unpack and watching these videos in the quiet of my own home allows me to take that deep dive into scripture. Thank you!
Typically, we are not able to bus people to our campus. If there is an individual need please contact the church office about available options. (239) 936-1754 or www.mcgregor.net
Appreciate your commenting. Encourage you to consider one of life's biggest questions, "What's next after death?" God's Word says it is appointed for man to die once, and after this judgement (Hebrews 9:27). We should pay close attention to this and not neglect the salvation in Jesus Christ when we repent and place our faith in Him to save us from judgement. There is no bigger decision in life when we consider where will we spend eternity.
Interesting truth claim. When you have a moment comment on where your source of truth comes from, and how you came to that conclusion. For us, it is God's Word which doesn't change. The real end of story can be good news in that we can have hope and certainty of eternal life, but only if we humble ourselves, repent and place our faith in Jesus Christ alone. Check out this one verse in the book of John, chapter 3 and verse 16. Thanks for commenting.
@@McGregorBaptistChurch preface:agnostic here, i cannot prove nor have been achieved sufficient evidence for a god, let a lone a specific god. What my source of truth is depends on what is asked, if its what is the number 1, logic; but if its what are we, where do we come from and whats beyond the great shroud thats a tough question to which ill say:i dont know, we have tried figureing that out and every place got a different answer in their deitys and if you ask me where my morals come from: human consensus and humanism, putting humans and humanity at the center of my moralty. Which gods wird, it has changed soo often, compare old greek bibles with the kjv especcially on homosexuality, the kjv is strictly against homosexuality whereas the older versions arent that overtly antigay. Also you got multiple verses that directly contradict eah other, in one verse jesus said he is one with god and is god, in another its he is not. Dont sue me for not digging through my german bible and then translate it and post it with the correct number and book.
@@McGregorBaptistChurch also, before i forget, if god really exists he knows exactly what to do to make me believe him, since he also is supposedly omnibenevolent hed want me in heaven and not in hell. I have higher chances to go to heaven if i get converted or he doesnt give a toss or even made me specifically to go to hell. He also is supposesly all knowing so he knows wether i go to heaven or hell before i exist, even if i have free will. None of the scenarios are remotely defensible for a deity like your supposed god and makes me wonder whether id worship him even if i knew he existed, apart from the horrific deeds he did. Lucy killed like 4 dudes, god commits genocide like its another tuesday... yet lucy is the bad apple? An omnibenevolent being needs to be feared? Something doesnt add up here
Pastor Howard did such a great job describing all the major players, including Annas. What a inspiring and convicting message. Listening in from Beavercreek, Ohio.
Love being able to go back and listen to these again and again on so many different platforms. It helps so much to know where we are in Scripture each week, wrestle with it a bit on my own, hear the message on Sunday, and then listen again as much as I can after that. Sometimes it is the same week, sometimes it is over the course of multiple weeks or even months. I am anticipating binging the whole series on John before Easter this year. Thank you for making that even possible!
We visited McGregor for the first time today. We attended the 11:00 a.m. Contemporary Service. The worship experience was fantastic and the expository preaching was very inspiring. We are snowbirds and will be attending until late-March before heading back to Ohio and our home church.
