Great video but I think I will keep it more simple for my project. I will just design the steps first, then weld them to the post one by one evenly spaced according to what is comfortable to step on. I will continue this process until I reach the next floor, hope it works. Pd: the last step might be a bit off but what the hell…

An interesting fact about this construction is that if we assume the radius of the circle is 1, then the area of the inscribed regular dodecagon is 3. This means that the total area of the gaps between the dodecahedron and the circle is exactly equal to the irrational decimal part of pi.
