I think it's an enormous pity that the powers above felt the need to sell off such important government property in central London. The Duke of York's HQ in Chelsea should never have been sold off, once it's gone, you're never going to get it back. What's the point of it all ? I understand that Kneller Hall and Admiralty Arch have already been sold, which beggars belief and next to follow is the War Office. Who is buying it all up ? The Chinese Communist Party disguised as Hong Kong 'businessmen' who are about to replace the Russian oligarchs ? Dark Money ? Drug Cartels ? Mafia Bosses ? What's next ? I'd better not say, it'll give them ideas.
i was in Arnhem troop when i did my basic training in 1980, and that was based on the road leading in from the main gate and guard room and opposite all the offices
I did my army training here in 1980 when the old barrack buildings was standing where all these new accommodation blocks are when it was the royal artillery and across the road from the main gate was the REME and we had to go past there to get on the assault course
