David R that’s correct. What ever sticks out of the ground plus 200mm is the depth we drill down. Never moves. Unless the ground is not natural. If it’s fill, we go deeper. Cheers
Here from NSW i did slimmer in my back yard but a 2 meter spread from a 150-30 UC I-BEAM to I-BEAM reo welded to each beam at 8'' square , then form plywood and poring concrete in by hand @ 32 MPa, from a concrete mixer till i got to the 3.600 high north wall with 4 meters deep holes at 16 meters long then got a Concrete Truck from above the Council colo sack road am on my last 12 meters to go doing it bit by bit from 1.200 meters to 3.600 meters high , it a cut and fill project 52 meters all up , can't wait to see the end of it . as am doing it just about all by myself except the excavated work and lifting the I-BEAM in , All Structural Engineer and a bit more over kill from me . Hard work .. Cheers
Woof Dog, I know. I wouldn't ever do it normally. This was at my customers request. He didn't want to pay an extra $250 for dumping cost. It actually makes it harder for me to level off to.
I've got the same u17 but I wanna put the 2m hammer on it as its bigger and only 110kg where the 1m is 85kg. Is there an advantage over the heavier breaker ???
Its available here in OZ. Costly at $15,000 extra but extremely comfortable and cold for a small machine. Mine has a turbo, which is not currently offered anymore. Unless you want no warranty. Im going to look after this baby, and keep it for a while.
How did you a pt30 with AC, it's not available in the US. I hear they are supposed to be coming out with a 40 in the same frame size as the 30; I sure hope so. We have a toro dingo tx1000 and believe me it's extremely powerful but damnit Im getting too old for standing up.
Have you tried the older model kx 41-3v ? Hos is it compared to this. Im considering one of those. The older model with only 1000 hours is half the price...
Hey, I put 5500hrs on my KX41-3v and 1500hrs on the KX018. A few things broke on the 41, but overall it was a great little digger, cant fault both of them really. Have a look through some of my other videos, you can she the old girl working.
Looking at the same hammer for my machine, have u notice any extra wear on the machine from using this hammer ? Would u get a bigger one for this size or this was perfect for it ? Thanks in advance.
I purchased this unit with Aircon already fitted but I believe it is around 15,000 extra. Speak to your local dealer they should know. Brisbane mini excavations.com
Ahh I see, one last question, how much roughly does a terrex like yours cost? I really want to start my own excavation business one day here in Ballarat Victoria.
My name is William and I work for Mid-State Equipment. We manufacture skid steer and Mini skid steer attachment under the brand name Wildkat. We manufacture Buckets, grapples, tillers, bush hogs and pallet forks for the Terex PT30. Please feel free to visit our website at www.wildkatattachments.com.
The PT30 turbo is a top machine. It makes my job easy for levelling, way better and heaps quicker than a skid steer. Plus the air cond is nice and cold. Its got a am/fm radio that connects to my phone and I crank up the volume and in my own world. I enjoy going to work if that answers your question.
