Hi I’m not sure because it was a while ago but I did use the website planner quite a bit to help design it and space it the way I wanted. So that helped a lot.
Let me see if I understand! I asked if I ordered the correct part. Moosoo said yes. We receive the wrong part and you want me to pay for the return shipping. This is not customer service!
Hi! Hmm good question, I’m not sure off the top of my head, but the Ikea closet planner is perfect for helping “test fit” things into a custom space. The link to their planner is in the description of this video, and once you go to the site, you can enter 3.75ft as your space and virtually drag and drop pieces into the space to see how it would look/fit! Hope that helps
Everybody hates the Touch Bar for no good reason, I think it is very useful and versatile for many different uses. I got the same MacBook Pro M2 and I love it, got it for a very good price at BestBuy and I could't be happier.
@@curlypay I think if Apple will make the full touch screen on the MacBook they will be creating a direct competition between MacBook and iPad so I don't think we will see that feature any time soon, actually you know in the new MacBook pro the touch base is not present anymore
Looks like you and mama pay had a great trip! Glad you had a chance to do your own thing and see some sights!! What's next curlypay on the tourism side?
Hi! Yes I did drill into the drywall for the rods. I had to get my own drywall anchors (bcuz the holes didn't line up with the studs on my walls) and long screws for them too and if I remember correctly the rods only came with screws to connect them to the middle section, not the walls themselves.
Good question! Yes they do extend, I found that their online designer/planner tool was super helpful for this part because you can enter the dimensions of your specific space and it will show you if it fits or not! Super cool, link in description :)
You made me feel happy that I got mines lol thank you fr. I’m kinda nerdish but I went thru almost every review lol this one made me proud of my purchase. This was my first computer purchase ever. My parents always got my computer!
the packaging itself is actually meant to resemble a box of popcorn! super cute and the colorful dots are intended to be mini popped popcorn. so clever☺️☺️
I designed it all on IKEA’s website! It was super easy. The link to the planner I used is in the description box of the video if you want to check it out 😊
Hi! Yes the rods can be extended out or in to fit different sized spaces. When I was designing it online I chose to have the rods on the sides for a more “custom” look since I knew I could adjust them. :)
Hi! It took me maybe 2-3 hours for just the Ikea parts. The longest parts to install were the suspension rail at the beginning (making sure it was level and secure) and the clothing rods at the end (not shown) because I struggled to find studs and had to use drywall anchors.
Nice video. I appreciated you showing the whole process including the frustration with allen wrenches and cable management. A lot of RU-vidrs edit that out, but it can be so daunting and overwhelming for us mere mortals to work through. I did laugh when you mentioned needing an allen wrench. Within the last few years, I've had to assemble so many items for my home that I have a collection of allen wrenches, some that came in the packages of the items and some I had to get because I could not find the leftover wrenches to save my life. lol. Great work and enjoy your new desk setup. :)
I’m so glad you liked it Gail, thank you for your kind words!! Yes putting things together can be sooo overwhelming and over complicated sometimes but the end result is worth it 😊😊
Hi! It only cost about $250-$275ish with tax for all the Ikea parts. I actually didn’t have to buy paint, brushes, spackle, tools, or wall screws because I already had them lying around in the garage or else it would’ve been a little more!
Hey curlypay! Do you have reasons on why u chose the MacBook Pro 13 inch over the MacBook Air? Because the Air is 100 dollars cheaper and comes with a new design. I'm just asking, because I'm choosing between the two.
Hi! Yes good question, so I was looking for something "more powerful" in it's base-model specs than the Air (and I know they're both very comparable for specs and power these days, especially with the same M2 chip) but I knew I would certainly have my needs met (video editing, speeding up footage, photo storage etc.) if I went with the Pro rather than just hoping I would with the Air. I also wasn't a fan of the redesign because I am a huge fan of touch-screen functionality on laptops and preferred to have something that made it more comparable to a touch-screen pc. Lastly, from a financial perspective, with the price point already so high, I figured I'd get the most bang for my buck to just pay the extra money and "move up" a model/get what I always wanted. Hope that helps!
@@curlypay I can definitely relate to your reasoning. I actually like the touch pad because I'll be moving from a fully touch screen laptop to this same MacBook. If this laptop was available in 14 inches, it would have been even greater.
You can install it on Mac it just isn't free like it would be on pc :( I've seen tons of people still use it for school though! If you're in college, some colleges even pay for their students to download office for free :D
