I’m Xbox, on hard as the republic. No auto-aim. All the planets captured except bespin:cloud city and geonosis. Stuck on cloud city. Very irritating. Thoughts?
@@dylandecker1429 Sorry, it took me a bit to respond. First off, congrats on not using auto aim. I wouldn't be able to do that. And unfortunately I don't have much advice. I haven't played the game in years sadly. As far as I remember, the Republic was my worst faction to play as.
It was such a bitter sweet victory!!! Finally! I ended up special attack on cloud city and beat the rest manually. The only thing was toward the end I quit without saving and restarted every time (rotating bonuses ) cuz I got so frustrated. If I can beat it completely naturally the same way would be the only thing I could do more.
Nice run. I play this constantly since release and have come up with strats on how to beat certain maps. I was curious if there was a Speedrun for this.
Thank you. And yes, there is a speedrun community for swbf1 2004. I haven't been apart of the community in a long time, but I believe there is a faster time for the PC version.
1:26:11, instead of pulling the cube again and using BD's koboh grinder with it to clear those vines, I used one of the previous beams (second iirc) and aimed it at the waterfall because I wasn't smart enough to work out the "correct" solution. Might have been a fluke, haven't played through again yet to test it. But if consistent it may be slightly faster as it's not a massive extra distance to move the beam you are moving anyway, whereas cube + koboh grinder is a couple of extra steps.
Great first run! I'm not the whole way through it yet but there's some optimizations we've come across since I've done my 100% easy run (including adding Galactic Conquest categories!) I'm on Discord and there are other avenues to contact me as well.
