I noticed you don’t mention in the recipe what kind of lentils either in your description or when you’re talking I know traditionally you can make these kind of things with red lentils but I’m real curious if you can use brown lentils and what kind did you use in your recipe?
If you pair your favourite oxalates foods with foods containing calcium the oxalates will bind to them and pass through you with no harm however you also won't be getting the calcium so make sure to have it somewhere else
This recipe was ok until the almonds went in. High in oxcilates and bad for your kidneys and body replace them with macadamia or wallnuts. Alot lower in oxcilates also dark chocolate is very high in oxcilates too making this snack not as heathy as you think. Please look up foods high in oxcilates and avoid as these could make some people very unwell. Hope the info helps so you can substitute for healthy low oxcilate ingredients 😊

Why does brown bread not always rise in the bread machine even though I follow the machine's recipe and the yeast is according to the recipe and is not expired? Does adding a spoonful of gluten give a better result to brown bread? Thank you.

My friend and I were at our college's band camp and we were staying in a hotel. She grabbed a diet ginger ale and we were in 2 different spots watching the 2 tvs there when I heard her let out the biggest belch I ever heard. That was the diet ginger ale talking. I was really impressed because she's always been a really loud belcher but I also appreciated that she didn't say excuse me. I wouldn't have excused myself either
Algae contain omega-3 fatty acids, but their nutritional labels might say 0 fats because the overall fat content in a typical serving is very low and often rounded down to zero. The process of making omega-3 supplements involves extracting and concentrating these fatty acids from large quantities of algae, allowing the supplements to provide significant amounts of omega-3s even though the raw algae themselves appear to have little fat.
My banana bread split up and cracked very early on baking . It’s v good in taste and texture, just not good looking! What happened and how to prevent it next time? TIA
Hi, Banana bread cracking on top is common and usually happens if your oven is too hot, causing the bread to set on the outside before the inside is fully baked. It can also happen if you use too much baking soda or powder, the wrong pan size, overmix the batter, or open the oven door too often. To prevent this, ensure your oven is preheated to 350°F and check the temperature with an oven thermometer. Measure leavening agents accurately and use the right pan size, typically 9x5 inches. Mix the batter just until combined and avoid opening the oven door frequently. You can also try scoring the top of the batter before baking to control where the crack forms.
Hi @dvenezue1a The drizzle was not actually part of the original recipe, I just had some glaze left over from the healthy cheese cake recipe and I thought I would drizzle it over the the cake. It is still low carb and sugar free, you can see how I made it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oL0t2lpZvxs.html
Sure, you can add some sweetener to this cake if you want. Good options are stevia powder or a little bit of honey if carbs do not bother you. This will still keep it relatively healthy. You can even add some vanilla extract or lemon juice for extra flavor.
I have concerns about margarine made with rapeseed oil. Rapeseed oil is often genetically modified, raising health questions. Additionally, there are debates about the potential negative effects of consuming rapeseed oil regularly.
