An Evening in the Valley w/ is a small private house concert venue in the interior of British Columbia in the beautiful Prairie Valley region of Summerland.
We host several house concerts a year for a regular audience of about 70 live music lovers, friends and family.
If you are interested in attending a show or performing on our stage you can find us on Facebook and Instagram or send me an email.
Great job, guys. Thanks, Jake, for giving the Sturgeon River Boys their due praise. They are great musicians! I hope you can stay together in the years to come.
ALl the time. It drives me crazy. That is why we are a LISTENING room. The Dream used to be more strict about being a listening venue. Hopefully they revisit that policy and emphasize it again. There are few rooms that create that environment for musicians.
I saw these fellas last night at the Fillmore in Charlotte, NC. When they took the stage and started their show, our rowdy audience grew silent. I have NEVER been to a show where people were so quiet while the band played. They captivated the crowd with their musical style and humor. The crowd went nuts cheering and whistling between each set and was genuinely disappointed when their bit was over. I went to see one of my favorite bands (The Dead South) and left with another new favorite group!
I was also there for the show at the Fillmore in Charlotte. I felt so sorry for them when their bass broke on them at the end of their first song, followed by a busted string on the front mans guitar on the very next song left them having to adapt on the fly! They recovered beautifully, finished the set and seemed to get a good laugh out of the audience about it all. Good work guys, really enjoyed the show. Sorry about your Bass!
Was there for this and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone talks about Chris Stappeton's song writing but I think William Prince is every bit as good.
An absolutely excellent song writer that most will never hear. Once the front man for the fabulous band Dakona, Ryan has been making his own music and producing for others. An amazing gift to the music world. Spread the joy of Ryan's music far and wide. Cheers.
I agree. They are best suited for a listening environment. Sadly, most people who claim to "love" live music really just love going out with their friends and talking about themselves.
Thanks for sharing! If you have a second, I have posted a new song of mine on my channel. As a fellow music lover, I'd love if you would check it out. Let me know what you think! :)
